Our emergency unfortunately ran longer than we thought, so we called back and asked for a rain check. The girl we talked to stated it was fine. 30 mins go by she calls back states she is new and didn't know but the "head pro" said that rain checks are not offered to groups that use a Groupon. I asked to be clear, so if we would have paid full price yall would have grace on our emergency, she said yes. Spend your money somewhere that care alittle more.

I was coming from Atlantic Beach and the best way to the course seemed to me to take the ferry across the Neuse River. The schedule is below and once you get off at the Minnesott terminal, it's basically three turns and you're at the course. www.ncdot.gov/travel-maps/ferry-tickets-services/routes/Pages/default.aspx I did make a tee-time through their website and even though it was a beautiful sunny day, it still was a weekday in mid-March and overall there was no need. www.minnesottgolf.org/tee-times/ The course was a mixed bag. From the whites it's about 6000 yards, so nothing crazy long. A lot of trees and water in some form or another comes into play on about half of the holes. The one bad thing I would say is that the course, at least to me in the traditional form, doesn't really have any rough. Everything was mostly green, but also cut very low. Low as in where does the green start/end and the fairway or rough begin. As long you weren't in the trees, you're hitting off of....sort of nothing. I did not partake in any of their food offerings at the restaurant, which is in the same building as the pro shop, but it was busy and everyone there seemed to know everyone. I don't anticipate coming back to the area any time soon, but if I do, I will definitely come back for another round. (3.5 rounding up)

Seagull sounds in the background. We were able to get beverages at the clubhouse and get through the course without any delays. Very nice!
