Taas is a family-run restaurant with excellent Nepalese and Indian food. We've eaten here for lunch (weekends only), for dinner, and we just enjoyed a take-out with 2 other couples who were as impressed as we are. The Nepalese dishes (Himalayan Momo steamed dumplings, Gurkha, Everest Masu Tamma) were a delight (we're new to Nepalese), and the Indian dishes were perfectly prepared. They make the best raita we've ever had, and their own chutney. The delivered food was very freshly made and hot --it came in plastic boxes that could be microwaved, but we didn't need to. The restaurant has been open about a year and is in an important location, just steps from the art museum. They do before-theatre specials, and take good care of vegetarians and people with food allergies. read more
