If you need gas/diesel, food & a clean restroom, stop here! In addition to this place having everything you need, the train decor is really creative & adds a nice touch to the walls instead of the typical boring gas stations we are used to seeing everywhere we stop. There are 3 regular stalls & one handicapped stall in the restroom. So, if you are a group of women traveling together, this is a good place for you. There's plenty of space in the clean restroom also. I'm sure the mens room is similar but my husband was outside getting diesel. In the store area past the restaurant there are plenty of drinks & snacks. If you are a tourist & you want a basic souvenir then I love that there is a section in the corner for tourists with items that are reasonably priced. I went in for routine maintenance work on my truck. walked to the main store to get a bite and use the restroom when one of the workers, Stephen, ran into me! He was on his phone like everyone else is now days, but get this, then he tells me to "watch my a**", like it was my fault! I use to get all my work done here, now im looking for a real shop to do my work, I'll never go to the Hillsboro TA location again! read more

Nice travel center with plenty of pumps, fun shop, clean restrooms and a surprise sit down restaurant/diner. BONUS ADVENTURE! The Burger King next door has dozens of black crickets. Sorry, hundreds. Thousands? I don't know, but like a biblical plague black cricket presence on the entire front wall and door. WOW! As a truck driver who usually uses Loves because it's cleaner, but not the case here. This location is clean and nice! Even the restrooms in the service area are clean and smell good. We got our truck worked on very fast and friendly service!! Country Pride has limited menu but great food and showers were nice!!! read more

The showers are IMMACULATE! I stopped here after driving my tractor-trailer from Chicago and wasn't expecting such a clean and nice shower! They provide a rack of 4 towels and swishing cup and 2 different kinds of soap. They put the pilot showers to shame. Anyway, I was happy about that. I didn't explore the stop as a whole but the clean showers alone deserve 4 stars. read more

Quick stop for a potty break. It's right off the highway so it's easy to get to me get back on your way. When u walk in the restrooms are not up front and don't have a sign but they are around the back to the left. That's all I needed and left. So it sufficed my needs. This place sucks. Stop in to get gas, try to pay at the pump - pump says "see cashier". Go inside. Lots of people working, only one at a register (natch), with a huge line. Wait in the huge line. Finally get to the front. Have this exchange with the lady: Me: I'm trying to pay at the pump for gas, but the pump said "see cashier". Her: Cash only. Me: Excuse me? Her: We don't take credit cards; cash only. Me: Can you tell me the nearest place where I *can* get gas with a credit card? Her: Either further north or further south. I left, incredulous. Summary: they're apparently stuck in the stone age, as evidenced by the facts that that they don't take credit cards and their cashiers communicate like neanderthals. Nice little store and truck stop. love all the train decor in it. had a nice clean little restaurant as well as a burger king attached. offers hot dogs and nachos as well. prices for hot dogs was really decent. but don't get a refill. 44 ounce refill in whataburger cup cost me 1.25 I can go.a hundred other places and get it for .75 i would have been fine paying .86 cents for one too. i was headed home and not feeling well so i just took it and left. read more

Bloody best TA in the country. It's brand new, showers are speck. Clean, friendly, the older gentleman patrolling the lot in a golf cart ran up to me told me when I was fueling...he says " I got a spot just for you". He went over and moved cones away so I can park my oversize load, he put cones around me so no one parks next to me... blown away... gave him a nice tip. Showers are clean service inside store and diner was super... keep it up guys/gals, some of us out here really appreciate your service. Tips$$ all around. Excellent. We went to the "restaurant " there . We like to try a place out with ordering a "chicken fried steak dinner" . It did NOT look like the picture in the menu. !!!!!!! It was a prebreaded piece of meat , not sure if it was steak. The crust if you call it that looked like overcooked corn meal. A chicken fried steak where I was raised in Texas , is dipped in egg and milk and flour ,then cooked in a skillet . DO NOT EVER order Chicken Fried Steak there . You won't get what a real chicken fried steak is supposed to be . You will get something unfit to eat . I do hope the Manager of the "restaurant" sees this. He needs to Go to school and learn HOW to COOK. read more

I know it's a gas station but Wow it was a great gift shop too LOL! I so enjoy these huge trucker stops cause it has so much to offer like a shower or a real taco. My experience is from the shop here. Slow slow slow! 5.5 hours for trailer work on a light, which turned out to be small wiring work. He literally got started on the truck after we have been here 5 hours and 15 minutes or so, and he was finished in less than 10 minutes! We sat in the bay the whole time. This place just lost a star. There are severe weather threats all over the area, but the dumb people behind the counter won't give out the TV remote to let us keep track of the storm watches/warnings and radar. All I have to say is thank goodness they have free Wi-Fi in the building. Here's to hoping at least one TV in the sports cafe has the Weather Channel on. read more

Well the waitress was very nice.But that's really the only person that seems to work here.She sure has her hands full,so I can't blame her for quality of food. But I can say that I think I broke a fork on what resembles French toast. Don't eat breakfast here please! My husband and I live in hillsboro and eat here once a week. We were a little disappointed when they first opened. The staff was slow and didn't seem to know what they were doing. But the longer they have been opened the better they have gotten. We always try to get the same waitress "Melinda ". She is amazing and experienced. I alway order from the menu and my husband gets the buffet. To me the buffet could be fresher. read more
