After interviewing more than 7 gate companies, we decided that Herotec was the best option for us…read more What ultimately made us decide to go with them was after we got the initial price quote, we wanted them to make some revisions to adjust a few more things. Avi was the only one that called us back right away and asked to meet again so he can fully understand what we were looking for and promptly provided a revised quote - which was very reasonable compared to their competitors. Once we signed the contract, Avi was really good with communicating with us. He lined up the electrician, the gardener to do the prep work, and the gate installation itself - all the while making sure we were kept in the loop. The timeline was very reasonable and everyone that worked on the project was very professional and friendly. The custom swing gate was exactly how we wanted it to be. Throughout the entire process, they were very flexible with all the customizations that we wanted and would often go above and beyond. The quality and craftsmanship were exceptional - it was actually better than what we had hoped for. The overall experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a gate installation.

Absolutely Fabulous Service! Highly Recommend Herotec!…read more If you need honest, professional, and reliable gate repair in LA, call Herotec immediately. After dealing with shady, unlicensed people, Herotec was a breath of fresh air. The technician arrived right on time, immediately handed me his professional business card, and was incredibly polite. He quickly diagnosed the problem, got my gate safely back on its track, and tightened the chain--all for an incredibly fair and honest price. He didn't try to upsell me or overcharge me. He also went above and beyond to fix a badly seized manual-release motor portion left behind by a previous installer's terrible work. Even though the previous damage was too severe to fully repair on the spot, I deeply appreciated his honest effort and expertise. I received a professional, clean invoice right away. If you want a legitimate company that does great work and has actual integrity, use Herotec. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

I am a property manager for over 200 units throughout Los Angeles County, and I truly cannot tell…read moreyou how many times Gidi and GSS Garage Doors have come to my rescue over the years. When you manage this many properties, emergencies happen, and having a vendor you can genuinely rely on is priceless. There have been countless times when I've had tenants stuck behind gates, unable to enter or exit, and Gidi has always done everything he can to assist me as quickly as possible. One experience in particular will always stick with me, it was absolutely pouring rain, and Gidi still showed up and made sure we were taken care of. He doesn't just fix the immediate problem he takes the time to explain what's going on, gives honest recommendations, and helps me figure out the best long-term solution for the property. After managing properties for as long as I have, I know how difficult it can be to find vendors who are knowledgeable, responsive, honest, and genuinely care about their customers. Gidi checks every one of those boxes. GSS Garage Doors is hands down one of my all time favorite vendors, and Gidi is someone I know I can call when I really need help. I cannot recommend him and his company enough! Thank you for coming to our rescue again this weekend at San Pedro, Gidi!

The owner of this company was extremely unprofessional while working at the apartment complex next…read moredoor. He parked directly below my window with all four doors of his vehicle open and blasted music at an excessive volume for an extended period of time. I politely asked if he could turn it down, and instead of responding professionally, he made rude comments. He told me, "If you think this is bad, wait until Sunday," and dismissed my concern by saying, "It's already 11 a.m." People work overnight shifts, have young children, or simply deserve to enjoy some peace in their own homes. Being loud in a residential neighborhood is inconsiderate regardless of the time. After telling me to "wait two minutes," he got into his vehicle and repeatedly honked / laid on his horn the entire time he was leaving the driveway, which felt intentionally disrespectful. I called the company afterward to report the incident and was surprised to learn that the person I spoke with identified him as the owner. That makes this behavior even more disappointing, as owners should set the standard for professionalism and respect. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

5 stars without hesitation. Pacific Gates and Drew did an incredible job from beginning to end…read more This was a very custom project, and I came into it with a specific vision of what I wanted the front of my house to look like. I actually created a rendering of the gate and entrance I had in mind and gave it to Drew. He worked with me through the design process, turned that concept into actual plans and dimensions, and Pacific Gates ultimately built what I had envisioned remarkably closely. Seeing the original design compared with the finished product is pretty incredible. The quality of both the materials and workmanship is excellent. The gate is substantial, beautifully fabricated, and the finished installation completely transformed the front of the house. The proportions, vertical steel design, solid center panel, pedestrian entrance, sliding driveway gate, and overall finish came together exactly the way I hoped they would. The price was also extremely fair, especially considering the amount of custom fabrication, materials, labor, and integration that went into the project. What impressed me just as much as the finished gate was Drew's patience throughout the project. I am very detail-oriented and had a lot of specific ideas about how everything needed to function together. Drew never made me feel like I was asking too much. Any concern I raised, he addressed, and he stayed involved in getting the details right. This also went far beyond simply installing a gate. We created a fully integrated access system where my Ring home controls can operate both the pedestrian gate and the sliding driveway gate, along with a Ring Intercom installation. The pedestrian gate also has a keypad controlling an electric strike, so it can be released either through the keypad or directly through the Ring Home app. The Ring Home app separately controls the rolling driveway gate as well, giving me the elaborate but simple-to-use intercom and access system I wanted, with everything fully integrated in one setup. I separately had a custom address sign and mailbox made specifically for this entrance, and Drew worked with me before I ordered them to make sure the dimensions and placement would integrate properly into the gate they were fabricating. There were a lot of moving pieces between the fabrication, operator, access controls, electrical coordination, pedestrian entrance, intercom, keypad, mailbox, address panel, and the overall architectural design. Drew was willing to work through all of it with me rather than trying to push me toward an easier or more generic solution. That is probably what I appreciate most. Pacific Gates didn't just sell me a gate. They helped me build the entire entrance I had pictured for my home. The finished product looks fantastic, functions exactly the way I wanted it to, and feels like it was designed as part of the house rather than added afterward. I could not be happier with the result. Huge thank you to Drew and the entire Pacific Gates team for the craftsmanship, patience, and effort they put into this project. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a genuinely custom gate and access-control installation.
