The fried calamari rings with black pepper were delicious. I think I'll go back to try the fried chicken.

Really surprised to find that this exists in Madrid! It's even funnier that it's located right next…read moreto ZenZoo, a competitor. I've tried their oolong milk tea and their strawberry cheese foam drink. I've also had samples of the egg puff waffles. The oolong milk tea is decent for Madrid standards. It gets the job done and I think the only one on par with it is ZenZoo's. However, I think Eggofre specializes more on its slushes and desserts. Their strawberry cheese foam drink is a bit like Happy Lemon's, but less salty. It's thick and I prefer drinking it by taking off the lid and sipping so I get a combination of both cheese and slush. The strawberry flavor is so refreshing. At 6 euros, the drink itself is quite expensive, but I saw that they have a deal that's 8 euros for a strawberry cheese foam drink AND a strawberry egg puff waffle. As for the waffle, I think it's quite light and perfectly textured! It's great to share and there's so many customization options. I've had waffles elsewhere that had flat textures, but this one is squishy and holds the ingredients together well. Cheese foam and egg puff waffles are definitely a niche treat for Madrid. I recommend it!

Also I got some kind of taro tea but it taste weird. If you're here make sure you go into the store and to the back. There's a really cute wall with flowers you can take pictures of.

It all tasted really good! I was going to get a smoothie, but was told they didn't have the machine to make it the day I went, but the staff recommended a milkshake so I got a strawberry one with oat milk and it tasted good and on the natural side, which I enjoyed! There is good indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and very attentive. We went back a couple days later for lunch and the food did not disappoint either. We got the nachos, chicken and waffles, and fish and chips. The same lady helped us out and the food came out relatively quick. Overall, I look forward to returning.

The tofu scramble was definitely the highlight -- being cooked with seemed like kala namak (black salt) or something similar to give it that eggy/sulphuric character. The avocado+tomato toast was also decent, though needed some amping up with extra virgin olive oil and salt that they provided to season for yourself. The combos also come with a choice of coffee drink -- I did a late, which was very well-made. Overall, somewhat Spanish takes on various breakfast/brunch cuisines, done pretty well. Not a standout spot in Madrid, but a cool spot nonetheless that I'd recommended moderately.
