Warm decor, cute space, friendly staff and a delicious menu. It almost feels sacrilegious to drink coffee here but it's so good, I can't not! Plus... I'm trying this new "direct and honest" thing lately, so when the gent asked me how my coffee was on my last visit, I told him honestly that it wasn't the best, but it was drinkable. He took it off me, demanded my feedback, and came back a few minutes later with a much improved version. Just awesome service.

The tea came out in a lovely pot... yes lovely real , fresh ,tea leaves with china cups and sauces. The tea set in a willow pattern design, very fitting. However we didn't make a booking but there was only one other table being served. Our tea came out pretty quickly but we asked for a selection of sandwiches. There were curried egg without any parsley and chicken Waldorf we waited half an hour. Hopefully when more people visit they will be quicker in serving and making simple dishes more readily.

I just wasn't that impressed with what I got though. The sambal tofu was small in portion size, and there was a lot of some sort of squash the menu hadn't mentioned and not that much tofu. It was tasty and a bit spicy, but not nearly good enough to be worth getting on any kind of regular basis. I will say that though the price was high, they were open over Easter break and didn't have an extra surcharge during that period (as is not uncommon in Australian business), so that's good. But while the service and ambiance were nice, I felt I could have done better.
