When you make the reservation (and you really should make a reservation), you choose where you want to dine. The menu also differs, depending on where you sit. On the ground floor, that's the restaurant. I've dined there the most. I love trying their cocktails and their bitterballen aren't that bad. You almost can't go wrong with the dish that you choose; they also change and rotate so it might already be a different menu. I sat upstairs once. It was a small plates sharing menu with more cocktails to try! In other words, it was a more extensive cocktail menu. Every time I've been the food and the cocktails have been excellent. They also have beer in case you just want to do that. The decor is fun and quirky with an Indiana Jones/Jungle Cruise flavor. I would highly recommend getting a reservation if you're in Groningen.

Great place to spend the evening…read more Lindeboom Pilsner, Gouverneur (Blonde, Triple, Dubble) and La Trappe from tab + a wide selection of standard and special beers from the bottle will make everyone happy. But be careful - many of the special beer have 8% or more ... Had a "Jopen Thomas en Kenau" (10%!) which was amazing. Not sure about the next beer? Ask Jeroen for a recommendation and a sip ;-) Did not try the food yet, but the menu reads interesting and looked great on the plates of other guests and is on my list for the next visit!
