The servers were friendly and prompt, prices reasonable and atmosphere cozy. Paddy O'Ryan's was also where I had my first bitterballen, which is basically a deep fried ball of meat. It was surprisingly good, however I am convinced I could deep fry my pinky toe and it would taste good.

I had a nice piece of baked catfish, crusted with almonds and salami. Served with salad and chips (fries), this made for a very satisfying meal. Beer selections include Guinness, of course, as well as Kilkenny, Grolsch, and Old Speckled Hen. They have a fine selection of whiskey and scotch, with several rotating varieties. The best part about Paddy O'Ryan is the free live music on Wednesdays, varying from traditional Irish music to alt country. Local groups as well as international touring acts find their way to Paddy's, which must be a good sign!

Very cool interior with a definite Irish Pub vibe. I ordered bread plate and hot wings. The hot wings were not what I expected. They were just bread crusted and served with a Thai chili sauce. The Irish soda bread was decent. The best thing are the drinks they served. They made an excellent Baileys, cream and coffee.
