It is a very nice place that serves mostly burgers and some home made cakes. We went for burger..and it was juicy..with just right amount of bread..delicious. We went for burger, colslaw and potato wedges combination. Colslaw was dissapointing a bit.too dry and way too much cabbage. If you want a nice burger in Groningen then this is the place..! ah..and they serve Fritz Kola and other drinks.

Cons: This place is overpriced. Maybe I'm spoiled with being an Korean-American with Benihana or Japanese food and Koreanized Japanese foood all over the place. The food was normal and the price was somewhat up there, and I don't know why! Why?!? If anything, this place seems like the only nice looking Japanese restaurant in the city area, so I guess this place is the best place for Japanese. I can't complain if I eat here and I want Japanese :)

All wines comes in either glass or bottle options and most plate come in either small or large sizes. I had a delicious, small Caprese Salade with a glass of white (wit) wine. The pricing is typical for central location. About 12 euros for the entire meal. It's definitely more about the ambience. Friendly staff and speak good English. For a comfortable place to sip wine or beer and watch and chat, it is wonderful. Food wise nothing spectacular, but with all food here: fresh and organic, so very healthy.

A fun theme restaurant with not only great food, but also excellent service…read more We (my parents, brothers and niece and nephew so a group of 8) went to Robin Hood as a surprise for my parents 45th wedding anniversary. As you can imagine arranging a surprise for a group is Always a challenge. Before our visit to the restaurant I had called the restaurant and explained that I wanted to do something special for my parents anniversary. The lady on the Phone told me this was no problem and she gave me several suggestions on what could be done and generally satisfies groups. So we agreed on having a la carte meals (as this was a lot cheaper than a set menu for 8) and a special desert. To my surprise when we arrived at the restaurant all waiters knew exactly why we were there and what we were celebrating so my parents got the special treatment, including their robin hood hats (which they proudly weared all night). Now I say to my surprise cause I had made the reservation a month before and had no time to follow up closer to the date since I was abroad. So this means they really noted down the info I gave them and made sure they remembered on the day. This is what I call great customer service! Another fun aspect of this restaurant is that everything is in the Robin Hood theme: - the waiters clothing - the way the waiters greet you and take your orders - the menu - Activities (you can also book a day trip and do like crossbow shooting ect.) Like I said the food was amazing! I had a lovely salmon with feggies, the extra's such as fries, potatoes, salad you can just keep ordering. The waiters are great! They understand service. They come to the table to check everything every so often, take the time to take some pictures. And the special desert was a Ice cake with fresh fruits, chocolate sprinkles, cream, nuts, cookies and fireworks. So beautifu and delicious! And the very best part...........Price quality............Very cheap for what you get.
