Better yet, the owner and operator, Hayden Lamb, is the definition of a Good Samaritan. See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJ5emETsoos When we pulled into the park, 10 miles after our odometer read "0," one camper called Mr. Lamb, who promptly showed up in a golf cart with a can of unleaded--more than enough to get us to Limon. We opened our wallets, but he refused to take a penny. "Just tell people about this place on Yelp," he said. And so I am.

So I took the first exit I saw and drove past a few motels. The Safari Inn just seemed to speak to me. It took the guy a minute to get to the front desk it was 1130 at night so that was understandable but he was so very nice and accommodating. The place was insanely clean even the front office was spotless. The room was very nice comfy bed and everything you need to recharge from a long drive. To be one hundred percent honest this place felt like I was staying with family. There aren't any bells and whistles just good honest place where you get what you deserve and more. If you have never stayed at a Motel this is the one you need to try first.

The hotel is not in any means a luxury hotel, however very comfortable and affordable. The front desk attendant, however,Vickie Lucas over charges, extorts and demands cash from guests to pocket the money for herself. Vickie says the charges are for damages from hair dye. I very thoroughly cleaned the bathroom, yet she still demanded cash payment of $375, even after I gave consent to charge my card that she had on file for my weekly rent. She demanded cash and threatened to call the police even though I was willing to pay with my card. When I asked to speak to a manager she told me that he is on vacation out of the country and told me I can only talk to her. I do not feel that the management is fair in charging $375 for a small stain on tile that is already damaged and very outdated. I feel she pocketed the money for herself. I made a complaint with better business bureau. This hotel refuses to respond. The said manager that was on vacation called me himself and informed me that Vickie is no longer employed and that there is no record on file of any damages or payment received. I have a receipt for payment and still I have not received a follow up statement or refund. Below are some pictures of the hotel with the existing stains before my visit and the one pink stain that cost me $375 Also, the tv does not work. The wifi does not work unless you are in the lobby, and still not very well. There was an electrical issue in this room, the lights would flicker and breaker would shut off when using the microwave or plugging in any appliance (like a hair straightener). My husband bought and replaced the breaker with the permission of Vickie. If I could give a 0 star rating to this hotel I would.
