AVOID CNC Tree Service: Requested a quote for work (large job) regarding palm trees on my lot. The…read moreindividual and I went around the property twice to confirm everything who then went with his wife twice around the property as she wrote up the quote. I was informed that I would be called to schedule when the work would begin and that the trees would be identified for the crew. Problem #1: Trees were never identified for the crew; work is done that is not part of the quote. Problem #2: Crew showed up unannounced on two consecutive days. Problem #3: Because the proper work was not done ahead of time work was done that was not part what was agreed upon and the owner (Cody) starts bellyaching about losing money. The owner also complained about the amount of overhead he has which had nothing to do with the work he was hired to do. Problem #4: Owner decided to get paid for what had been completed and walk away from the remainder of the job. CNC Tree Service came recommended by someone else in my neighborhood so I thought finally a reputable tree service. How wrong I was . . . not even close to being reputable.

Not only did they do excellent job in cutting and trimming, but they also left the area clean and tidy by clearing away all the cut branches and grinding the stumps perfectly. Hometown unilaterally decided to trim a tree in my yard because they deemed it too close to my neighbor's shed...DESPITE my neighbor EXPLICITLY telling them not to. In order to trim said tree, they also trespassed on my property to access the tree. The result was a very ugly, stumpy, lopsided tree on my property. It was so bad that I had to have it removed completely. Hometown said they would do this for free...well guess what...they never showed up and I finally had to have it removed by someone else. Now trying to get them to remunerate me for the situation they created, and they are refusing to do so. They will not put me in contact with the owners, and are no longer responding to communications. I have a feeling this is going to end up in court. STAY AWAY - FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER!

Andrew and his team at Expert Tree did a really great job at my house in Rockville. They removed…read moretwo large white pines and trimmed a huge Oak that was hanging over the house. One of the pines was 100 feet and right over a fence. They managed to remove the entire tree without causing damage to the fence below, which was pretty astounding considering the immense sizes of the cut trunk pieces that kept coming down. They even took care to clean up everything from picking up tiny branches, to blowing the chipped debris off the road, to moving the metal gazebo back to where it belonged. When it comes to trees, Andrew knows exactly what he is doing, so you feel comfortable staying out of his way (literally) and letting him and his skilled staff do the job. Highly recommend!

They were very prompt in coming out for an estimate. The prices were quite reasonable for the work done. Scheduling was also very prompt. The owner, Andrew, was on site with the two other workers for the day and they all were very prompt, neat, professional, and knowledgeable. They took extra care by placing mats so the heavy equipment used would not damage the lawn.
