B&G installed my soft water system and whole house plumbing when I built my home in 2006. They also…read morereplaced multiple water heaters and worked on the soft water system in 2008 leaving out the media (resin beads) in the carbon tank leaving me with extra hard water and plumbing fixture problems for years. Finally in June 2025 they admitted the errors and rebuilt the Clack tanks and system. It never worked and delivered the same hard water. But they charged me $1,660 for the rebuild. I complained multiple times to the nice lady on the phone but the GM failed to respond. In August 2026, just last month, I was so frustrated I contacted Hall & Sons Plumbing, Inc. They put in a duplicate system with ALL NEW PARTS. It finally works like it always should have and we can control the softness. Hall & Sons are great and effecient and delivered on service. I not only lost the $1660 I paid B&G 14 months earlier but hundreds that I paid them over the years to service (and do nothing) the old system. They just didn't care enough to do a good job. NEVER HEARD FROM THE OWNERS WHEN I COMPLAINED

From the moment I called the service number to the time they left the house they did what they said they were going to do. I was kept in the loop on their timing and received a call, as promised, when they were running later than expected and also when they were on the way. I would recommend them to others and will use again.

Four days later the exact same issue happened and they want to charge another $400(ish) to come diagnose and fix the problem because there are no warranties on backups, which they don't tell you beforehand.
