I needed to fix my backwash port on our filter because the part where you attach the hose broke. I took it in hoping to buy the parts to fix it and Tim had the parts and volunteered to fix it as I have no experience with PVC pipes. All things do not go as planned I will agree so some truths to your update and some major lies. I had never once complained about the cost and wanted to upgrade to higher end stuff for longevity, no issues with the price at all. I never once was asked by you or the installer about paying for water to check for leaks, I was willing to pay for high end upgrades and not want to pay for water?? Not once did TNT pools ask or come out and help with any of there install issues. You always told me to call the installer and the last I heard from him is about some valve he was going to install and never did, nor heard from him again?? Literally zero customer service from TNT pools or his installer. Zero offers from TNT pools to come and even take a look at my install issues. You are not clear about permits obviously my current situation is proof of that. I also have proof of that it was you that called and turned me in for the permits, unbelievable. I have already had to pay someone else to fix the issues that are not up to code from TNT's installer. Once again you post about my accident and reasons why I didn't want to communicate via phone because I stutter and text was my best communication preference. I absolutely sent a text a year later to show my backyard paradise I had completed without the support of TNT pools. To those have reached out you are welcome and anyone else is more than welcome to. I never once received a call from you or your installer while you were standing there or not I never got that call. Must be another person you are providing TNT's stellar customer service to, WHAT LIES never got that call. Saying I would kick you off my property, I never have said that, LIES. I would have always welcomed you and the installer at any time to see what my issues were and actually asked if that could happen. On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, I researched, online, a new pool filter valve to get a feel for prices. Called here for availability...had to take the valve in for identification. Owner found a replacement, couldn't/wouldn't say if it was a direct replacement or a substitute, or if he could get it next day for sure, & told me $196. I showed him the picture/info I had saved from my research & asked if it was the same one...if so, I could get one online for $100. I fully expected him to knock a few bucks off the price but instead he exploded, yelling at me that I'd wasted his time & insulted him by "googling" the info right in front of him & that he had a brick & mortar store and had to make a living. He used a lot of "f**king" & "f**k" in his tirade, and told me to "get the F**k out of here and never come back." If he'd of offered me just a little off, I'd of bought from him just to have it right away. Instead, I'll never go back here again...not for a bottle of chlorine or a test strip. I've been a customer here for 5 years, buying all my supplies here. I'm really sorry I already bought 2 cases of chlorine last week here. Last year, he gouged me $80 for a pool pump basket cover that I knew I could get online for $25, but I needed it right away as grandkids were in pool when it broke, and he had one in stock...so I paid it without complaint. Incidentally, I did order the valve online, for $114 & free shipping , got it the next day and installed it. If I'd been willing to wait a week for delivery, I could have bought it for $89. (I wonder what he pays wholesale for it if I can get it for $89) From now on, I'll go online or to Menard's for my supplies. I like to support local small businesses, but I have to "make a living" too and that involves finding the best values I can on a modest fixed income. I can't afford to support local business to the tune of paying up to 300% markup. Needless to say, I've told my 3 neighbors with pools about this incident. read more

We bought a home that had a Doughboy above ground pool already installed in an enormous deck. We had never been pool owners before and needed elementary help to get it running and keep it stable. We went to 2 places before we found T-N-T Pools. What we found at the 2 prior places was wrong information, lack luster service, missing parts, and very wrong recommendations. THANK GOD we found T-N-T Pools. When I first walked in there Tim could see I was lost. He walked me through exactly what we needed to balance our chemicals (even drew pictures) and made me feel not as dumb as I felt. You can truly tell these guys love what they do. It's a shame I cannot remember Tim's wife's name because she is just as gracious and helpful as Tim is. She found the reason why our pool was cloudy and within hours our pool was clear blue. Our oasis is simply beautiful and although it's work to keep it up, it's not stressful now that we found T-N-T pools. *Contains detailed adult language... they used! My husband and I had done many transactions and repairs in the past 4-5 years... I recently purchased an 18ft winter cover. Bought the wrong size (previously we had an 18ft, now have an 16ft). Tarp only pulled out on the grass then folded back up. Cable and tension pulley still in the bag. I asked to exchange and offered to the 'eat' the $ difference or pay a restocking fee. Tim wouldn't agree and only offered to let me buy the right size. I said if that's all that can be done, I will buy from someone else... Tim shoved to box and tarp at me from the counter! As I was walking to the door he asks if I would like him to get the door for me, WHILE CHUCKLING! Very snotty, I admit, I said no. My husband called and talked to him just saying that he didn't appreciate how Tim talked to me. He yells at my husband saying 'he wasn't here and he didn't use any foul language (which neither of us did). My husband continued to say that he knew he did not and didn't say that. A couple times around of the same words later, Tim called my husband 'a fucking asshole' several times. My husband responded with the same words. They hung up on each other. Not before criticizing my husband for buying a 'fake' pool!!! Not only is Tim rude, demeaning, unwilling for a fair compromise, uses unnecessary and vulgar language, he's also verbally discriminating! Not a 'business' I would recommend. I have always had a great experience at this store. They are friendly, and very helpful. I find the store to be clean, organized and their prices are very reasonable. I wouldn't think of doing business anywhere else. I come all the way from Charlotte to purchase all of my pool supplies and chemicals. I am glad we found them. read more

I stopped by yesterday after work to get some pool chemicals & check to see if they had a replacement skimmer basket for my pool. I wasn't acknowledged as them saying "We will be with you soon." One lady was helping a guy & Tim was helping someone else. After Tim was done with his customer, he helped someone who walked in after me. Finally after about 15 minutes, Tim waited on me. I asked him if he recv'd a phone call from a guy describing with dimensions a skimmer basket, he said "yes, but we got disconnected." I said I will call him back & you can talk to him on my cell phone, but can I buy 2shock packages & 3" pucks for my chlorinater. He only had the 4lb container & said he didn't know when the larger container was coming in. I said ok, let me pay for this. I called my husband & he gave Tim the dimensions of the skimmer basket. Tim said he found one in the book & ordered it saying "it will be here tomorrow at 3pm & if it wasn't the right one, he would be able to put on his shelf to sale." I stopped by today after work & Tim said the skimmer basket didn't come in. I showed him a picture of our skimmer basket (I took pic on my phone last night when I came home), & showed him the picture of the drawing/dimensions my husband made last night.He said "he can't go by my phone pics or the paper drawing dimensions my husband sent me with , I need to bring the skimmer basket in." I than asked to return the 4lb container of 3" pucks because I found some left from last yr ( I bought from him) & he said "there are no returns on chemicals." I said were does that say it on the container? He said with a rude tone in his voice 3 times "there are no returns on chemicals." I said again where does it say "no returns". He grabbed the receipt from my hand and pointed to the bottom of the receipt & said (with a nasty tone in his voice) "that is good enough." The receipt says " All sales final, No cash refunds, In store credit only, 15% restocking fee." Nothing says "no returns on chemicals." Why didn't he offer me an "in store credit"? as I was going to by more shock & later pool toys for my grandkids. read more
