My husband and I were shopping around at different carriers to switch over and we both are going to buy new phones. When we arrived a man got us checked in and told us there was a wait and informed us that he was in training and was super nice. Eventually a man who was about 5' 4" African American with gold framed glasses was behind a counter and yelled out, "can I help you?!" I told him we were checked in and were waiting in line. In an irritated voice and manner he replied, "yeah.. Can. I. Help. You??" I explained to him that we were shopping around and asked about different promotions that were going on. My husband and I were in work clothes because we were doing a repair today. (My husband has a flooring business and as I said we were doing a repair on one of the floors he had installed previously) I full heartedly felt like he was judging us based on how we were dressed. He made me feel like we were wasting his time so I told him we had just gotten a call from a home owner and had to take off to get a repair done. He threw his hands up in the air, mumbled under his breath once again acting like we had wasted his time. Little did he know I had $3,000 in my purse as we were looking to get set up with a new carrier but he made us feel uncomfortable, which led to me telling him we had to take off. He didn't invite us to come back after our repair nor said anything to make us feel like he was willing to work with us. It makes me think of pretty woman and how you shouldnt judge a book by its cover. As Julia Roberts would say, "big mistake..huge!" T-mobile I would suggest retraining this man or have him take a few customer service classes, because we were ready to both purchase new phones and sign a 24 month contract. This happened today February 20, 2022. The man in training was super nice so I hope he trains with someone different. read more
