I had a T-Mobile store I went to that was in another part of town but alas that location closed for good. So I was trying to find another one and as it turned out this particular location came up and was actually way closer to my house. I haven't had to go here for too many reasons but the couple of times I did my questions and needs were met quite nicely. They helped get a new phone set up for me which I always struggle in doing when I get an upgrade to basic (and embarrassing for me after how simple of a fix it was) troubleshooting with minor tech questions. I have to say the T-Mobile stores I have gone to in quite a few years now have done well with situations like mine. I remember way back when they wouldn't help you and you had to call a hotline to get help which was a lengthy call. I can't feel sorry for the store locations that did that to me are also no longer open. Maybe there's a very good reason why. But the one I previously went to in Tacoma didn't have those old issues of the past. read more

This location is always busy whenever we pass by. Appointments can be made, which is great if you are in need of a new device or inquires of your account. My visit here was in regards of a new phone for my boyfriend's daughter. At this visit, we got lucky because it wasn't very busy at the moment. We were helped right away. We knew what we wanted already and just needed to pick out the accessories and upgrade the plan a bit. The only thing that took a while was the transferring from phone to phone. Customer service was excellent. The store was clean, bright, and well organized. Parking is vast, but spaces were slightly tighter than normal. I'd recommend parking further away from other cars if you could. read more

Waited 30 minutes to speak to someone to cancel my late father's account. When it's finally my turn she goes on break for 5 another minutes. When I try to cancel I'm told "sorry we don't have a manager here that can do that did you try calling?" Yes I tried calling they only process it in stores per the phone representative. This review is just for this location (38th and Pacific). Where I originally got the phone, customer service was superb. Came in for a simple insurance replacement. My phone is insured and is less than six months old. Instead of assisting us with the claim, the employee just passed us the phone. When it was difficult to hear on the phone to speak to a representative, requested to turn down the music. The employee just ignored the request. This T-mobile could really use a retraining in customer service. My suggestion is just drive a few miles down the road and save yourself the time and grief. read more

I give tmobile squat for stars as a company, but this store gets full marks for customer service. Every time I'm here, the staff is super well trained, friendly, and on top of it. They help me check my bill for deals or problems when I'm in for other stuff. I always leave happy. Most of you tmobile customers know that's not always the case when you visit a kiosk. Avoid the tmobile store outside Tacoma Mall on 38th. It is horrid!! Drive 5 extra minutes and go in the mall or hit this one instead. read more

This company is ridiculous- the customer service and management are poor. After porting a line from AT&T (been long term customer of leaving due to poor service) thinking T-Mobile would be better service I am now left with a defective device multiple lies from representatives to replace a device I have only had for less than 4 days. New iPhone 11-Pro works worse than my 7splus. Please be aware when signing up for new service if you are looking for in store service the representative tells you the phone needs to be ordered online you will not have any protection in store for returns of a faulty T-Mobile device. This can cause multiple issues, hours of frustration. I was at this store for over an hour with no viable solutions to replacement yet they have a phone on stock!!!!!! Tried to create solution they would not even give anything in writing to confirm what they agreed to do. Tired of all the AT&T bull stuff, I decided to give T Mobile a shot. And actually quite happy that I did. I mean where can you go wrong with unlimited talk, text, and data for $100. And that is for two lines, $80 less than AT&T. And the quality in Tacoma is amazing. Amazing enough to get two of my friends to switch from Verizon the very next day. They are always knowledgeable, patient, friendly and helpful. They have also never come off as sales-y or pushy. If there was a half of a star I would give half of star, not 1 star. Stay away from all T-Mobile period. The worst experience I've had with any carrier. I took their advice and switched from at&t to their military plan, BAD IDEA. I traded in 2 phones a iPhone 6 and a galaxy 8. They took my phones and I haven't got paid for them yet. This is over 3 months now. Every time I call I get a different response, and get transferred to someone who barely speaks English. Don't get suckered into the Netflix thing either, false ad, cant deliver. I am still waiting for my $580.00 from T mobile, but guess what they never skip a beat to take their money for their monthly bill from my account. Stay away, worse customer service, worse carrier. I expected to deal with an employee who knew at the bare minimums how to switch someone over to a new plan. Nope. After being called "Girl" and "Girlfraaaanndd" numerous times by this employee she proceeded to completely mess up my bill for the following month. She also failed to enroll me into auto pay as I had explicitly stated I wanted, changed my plan so that I was charged for 2 whole months of my new plan instead of being pro-rated for the 4 days left in my billing cycle, added insurance to a phone without permission nor even mention of it to or from me, and failed to ask for the proper information so the phone number could be ported over correctly. Will I recommend this T-mobile location to any one? Maybe if I was passed out and this particular employee could do it without my permission. read more

Best customer service I have recieved in a TMobile store ever. I visit a store maybe once a year. Today I visited this store about an hour before closing. Aaron greeted me as soon as I entered the store. I explained the reason for my visit and he explained that they dont carry the product I was looking for. He could have just said good night and sent me on my way and been off work on time. Instead he walked me through all of the comparable items they do carry and support. He did not push for a specific item, most reps I have dealt with try to push you for a high price tag item regardless of what would suit your needs best. Once I decided on an item he explained my payment options and got my set up. This was about 20 minutes before closing. I did not feel rushed, and the rest of the staff chatted with me as Aaron worked his magic. I was so pleased with his service I upgraded my phone as well (something I only do if the current phone is inoperable). If you visit this store, try to work with Aaron. If he is helping someone try to wait for him. I am sure the rest of the staff is just as good, but he really impressed me. read more

Called this location 6 times yesterday to ask if my warrantee phone had been delivered. None of my calls were answered. Drove to store, after finding phone on backorder, I asked if they had any Note 7s for me to upgrade to. 45 minutes later and they were still looking through their shipment. I asked it they could check another store's stock and was basically told they were to busy to help me. Very awful Customer service. Tried going in to pay mine And my boyfriend phone bill and wanted to ask why the bill was extremely high this month and they locked the doors on us as we walked up to the door, we asked if we could just pay our bill and my boyfriend politely said please we will be quick and 2 employees shook their heads at us, through their hands on the air at us and told us to go somewhere else. I was trying to call the Tmobile store at this location. No one answered, so i walked into the store and found all of the employees ignoring the phones, I thought they were busy because it was late afternoon. So i called from inside the store to see maybe there was something wrong with my phone,and they ignored it again. I was talking to myself and someone in line over heard me talking about them not answering the phones, they said they always do that, they never answer the phones. That is no CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!. If you want to be treated badly go to this location. I don't know about you but I spend quite a bit of money on my cell phone service monthly. The representatives that I have dealt with at this location act as if they are bothered if you have specific questions. The lack of customer service is appalling. I dealt with a Represenative who gave me bad information regarding an upgrade. Even after I gave her specific information to the contrary she was dismissive and borderline disrespectful to me without even verifying if the information I gave her was correct. When I asked a question regarding a note on my account from a customer care represenative over the telephone, she said "that has nothing to do with us". Isn't this a corporate location? I went to another location and received what I asked for, without having to upgrade my service contract, which she said I would have to do, and for twelve dollars less on each phone. read more
