When I had no service for 12 hrs I had a death in my family which no one could get in touch with me.
August 18, 2019, I walked into your T Mobile store in Haverstraw, NY and was greeted by the store manager and an associate. He set my husband and myself up with a new account everything was ok and worked. We live in 15 miles away from the store. Once we got home around 9:30pm nothing worked. I could not even call my husband from across the room. So, the manager had told me that if I had any problems to come back and he would make it right. Next day August 19, 2019 I went back to the store and two young women waited on me.
I told them my problem that we had not cell service. The one girl looks at me and asked where I live I told her and her reply was oh, yea I have friends that I visit up there and once you cross over the bridge you get nothing your phone should really go dead. I looked at her and said well, why didn't you tell me that last night when I was in the store. And of course, she looks at me like I have 3 heads. At that point I say ok cancel my plan (I have not even had T Mobil for 12 hrs) I am going back to Verizon. The one that acted like she was in charge says ok, I can do that for you no problem. So as of August 19, 2019, I no longer have T Mobil and have went back to Verizon.
One month later, Sept I get a $100 bill. I call your *#800 and I get a person on the phone who is very understanding and says don't worry I will cancel the charge and make your account inactive. You shouldn't get anymore bills and he was very understanding and cancelled the charge I thought.
Oct 26, 2019 I get another bill. I call the #800 was on hold waiting for customer service for over 1 hr. Told him my long story and he said oh I will fix this for you I just need your password. I am like are you kidding me I only had this account for less than 12 hrs and it was in August. I have no clue. He gets a manager and they get back on the phone and you guessed it they can do nothing for me and told me I had to go back into the T Mobile store. I ask to speak to the manager and the customer service person hung up on me.
Nov 13, I go back into the T Mobile store in Haverstraw and the two young girls were working and recognized me. And remembered my story. I told them what customer service told me I had to go back into a store to get this $100 charge taken off. The one woman in charge looks at me and says you need to go to a real T Mobile store, and I will not give you a credit and there is nothing we can do for you, sorry. She was rude and nasty I asked her if she could make some calls for me or see what she could do she said I told you I can't do nothing for you. read more
