As part of our endless quest to change phones away from Verizon, this is one of the places we stopped at, and they treated us very nicely. They mostly speak Spanish but can do English too. Barbi talked to them at length and I think he was hitting on her (but in a nice way, and Barbi started it). Anyway, one of the friendlier phone sellers we've been to, and she even ended up purchasing a charging accessory.

When I went by to pick up my glasses, I saw her coworker because Aisha had a customer. The coworker appeared to be very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The only thing is that even though I made it clear that I wanted The basic which I previously had, and no more. This lady ordered me A lens more expensive than what I had. I told her that I wanted the bifocal, and that these glasses were not showing the bifocal. She went on to say that these were much better and tried to pitch me the idea that they were. I told her that I did not care that I could see the bifocal on the lens as I did not want to pay extra. She proceeded to tell me that she discussed it with me when I was ordering my glasses, and I told her that I did not agree and was not told that was what I was getting. The fact that my glasses were over $300 was bad enough, and what she ordered for me was more than I wanted. Because I insisted that that was not what I ordered, I felt like I should have gotten an adjustment on my bill, but she would have none of that. I went ahead and took the glasses as they were, but let her know that I was not happy with what she did. She is extremely nice and always tells you, God bless you, and I don't think it is right. She should not try to get as much as possible out of the customers without fully explaining what she is doing. Even though I had the glasses picked out with Aisha and everything was discussed as to what I wanted, this lady proceeded to tell me that those were not good glasses and that she had a better pair which she talked me into getting. I called this being a little dishonest, and instead of trying to help the customer, It seems like she is more interested in making a bigger sale. I don't believe that God is pleased with her tactics.

Unfortunately, the experience did not match the expectations set by the event promotion in the Nike app. The biggest issue was that none of the store associates I spoke with appeared to know anything about the event. Several employees seemed confused when I presented the event QR code, which made it feel as though there was a disconnect between the app promotion and store-level communication. Aside from a DJ near the entrance, there was very little indication that a grand reopening event was taking place. The store was nearly empty, and there was no noticeable excitement, special programming, or celebratory atmosphere. One associate mentioned that Fridays are typically slow and suggested returning on Saturday, but the event promotion indicated that the multiple day event would offer a celebratory experience no matter the day. I was also surprised by the size of the store. Given CityCentre's prominence and the Nike brand, this is the smallest Nike store I have visited, which limited the overall impact of the grand reopening. I appreciate the opportunity to attend, but clearer communication with store staff and more event-focused activities would have made the experience feel more worthy of a grand reopening designation.

I've been enjoying it ever since I first came to Katy, which was when we first came to this massive outlet mall. It's clean and spacious and the service is actually pretty nice compared to a couple of the other stores in a region that I didn't like nearly as much. Having said all that, the prices are so ridiculous and I really don't find much compared to regular Nike pricing. I don't know when they got so expensive, and the t-shirts and muscle shirts became so claustrophobic with such awful material that I just can't buy them anymore. (And no I didn't gain weight thx, I lost it). I honestly think as they get more expensive, their materials get way cheaper. But life goes on.
