I needed to get the skinny on our upgrade options as both of our phones are on their last payment. David popped in and saw that there were no customers in this store so we went in. He was being seated for "immediate" service as I walked in. I held the door for the guy coming in behind me. The employee who told us that we would be helped immediately ran to help the new customer. This T-Mobile is okay, the person who helped me was very nice, her name was Pati Carrera however I can tell many of her employees didn't have as good customer service and even the manager seemed to have an attitude. I would give this place one star if it wasn't for Pati lol. She did her best to help me, and when helping me with my plan, she did a good job of explaining. The prices would be different than what she first explained but she always conveyed that when it changed. Overall, it was a good experience, but changes can be made. read more

I DON'T recommend this T-Mobile at all! I came three times to try and change my screen protector and there's always a 30 min wait or more. Ridiculous! If they're short staffed then hire more ppl! I'm from the Melrose Park area and I would rather go the one in the brickyard! read more

I've been to this location a few times & have had nothing but GREAT service. I bought my phone from (extremely attractive) Carlos in May. He was super helpful & efficient too. Then tonight I walked in here after my horrendous experience at the Bensenville location last night. I walked in prepared!! As soon as I walked in & checked in I asked is "your diagnostic machine working? " it was!! After explaining my situation from last night Kirk the store manager helped me right away. He ran the test & found nothing. Then he switched my Sim thinking that might be the issue, but no luck. He did a test run & heard the issues himself then he had me on merry way with a phone being sent to me tomorrow!!! This will definitely be my tmobile store of choice from now on! read more

I was sold a defected phone. I called to complain within the first week and was assured it was just the memory card causing my phone to freeze and run slow. Day 15th, the phone was still defected but it was too late for an in store exchange. Now day 22 and the Manger Kurt does not want to help or understand that the phone it less than a month old. Store: It's not a big store but they have all the latest phones. Some things like smart watches they have to order as they don't carry some models in store. You do have to wait in a que when you enter the store. You can pay your bill with credit card or cash. Employees: The employees here are young and just getting by, but they do understand what to do if you need help. They're actually very nice people and knowledgeable. Service: They take down your name and what you need when you enter the store. When I was getting a new phone and plan it didn't take but 20 minutes to get up and running with Tmobile. I had a problem with my phone not receiving texts or calls and they identified the problem and replaced my Sim card free of charge. This took about 5 minutes. Final Verdict: If you just need to pay a bill, pay online. It's much more convenient. Overall it's an okay store. read more

I came to this t-mobile and as I was walking up they shut the doors and locked them. I was just trying to ask a few question and the sign says they don't close till 8 yet I was their at 12:30pm. I am so frustrated because I had to drive extra miles to get to another location what poor customer service they could at least told me why they were closing their doors so early way before the closing time.!!! read more

I figured I'd just voice my opinion about this location. Around August last year, I went in to upgrade my phone as I hadn't done so in about 2 years. This was the point where they had introduced T-Mobile Jump, where you can upgrade without extending/terminating your contract. Before this program, if you haven't upgraded your phone under your contract in a while, you should be able to upgrade to a phone for a cheaper price. So I contacted customer support about this and said I can upgrade for cheaper than the advertised price, since I was a long time customer. I go into the store, and they say I can't do that. I was also told I could not do a monthly payment ($0 down, around $25 or so a month for two years.) Instead, they made me pay full price for the phone. Their excuse was their system could not let them do it. My question was why would they advertise a monthly payment plan if they couldn't even do it? My suggestion, avoid this T-Mobile location at all costs. The location in Melrose Park on 25th and North, as well as the Hillside location on Mannheim Road are both much better locations, with greater customer service that you don't have to wait for. read more

I went in to this store as I had some inquiries about my family plan and phone upgrades. The wait was pretty long and EVERY employee looked terribly annoyed. I understood that it was about an hour until closing so the staff just wanted to clear the room. Anyway, my name was called and I went up to the representative who literally just stared at me. He did not ask how he could help or anything just stared dead at my face waiting for me to speak. So I suggested we should probably get started with my phone number to pull up my profile. Everything went downhill from there. My questions were rushed and answered impolitely with smart remarks so I decided to cut the conversation short and head for the door. I had cash to buy my new phone in full but I'm simply tired of the bad service tha I have repeatedly received from this company. I'm switching my plan to AT&T. read more

The kids there are completely useless they never want to help you out with your problems all they want to do is try to sell you things that you don't need which I understand but they need to help you solve your problems as well as soon as you walk in and you tell them you have a problem they get all moody and they don't want to help you and try to pass you want to someone elseif you're going to do something do it right otherwise go flip a burger I have two business accounts and seven lines they should be able to help me out and not just try to write me off as soon as I walk into the door read more

This is the worst cell phone company I have ever had. Not only did I not received my early termination I never received my military discount for the 10 months I've been with you guys. I've been calling costumer care for months and things never gets resolved. I know you do not care for loosing a customer because you have plenty but I had to get it off my chest because I have never felt so deceived. read more

If I knew the wait would be so long, I would have brought snacks. Service was so slow, but I guess they were just that busy.

Great customer service! Reps there are knowledgeable and very patient. It got a little busy when I was there so there was a bit of a wait. I usually hate going into T-Mobile stores when I need a new phone but this place made me change my mind. read more
