Please take your time and ask questions before agreeing to anything. I'm especially concerned about an experience involving an 89-year-old customer. She wanted to use her own phone, but after discussing her options with the employee, she was told she would have to pay approximately $287 and was also told she needed a phone case and screen protector. The final transaction came to $464.70. She is 89 years old and does not know how to use her phone or email well. When she asked for a receipt, she was told to check her email instead of being provided a paper receipt. Customers should know exactly what they are paying for, which items are optional, and what their final total will be before completing a transaction. Elderly customers especially deserve patience, clear explanations, and respect. These stores need employees who are focused on helping customers and building the business through good service, not making customers feel like the only goal is getting money out of their pockets. Management should seriously look into the customer experience at both locations. Better training, better communication, and better management are needed. Ask questions. Confirm every charge. Get your receipt. Don't feel pressured to purchase anything you don't understand.
