I've used Ed since an ice storm in 1996 knocked out the phones in my telemarketing center. Ed set…read moreup new lines for us so we were the only ones in our building with service. Another time he ran data lines through abandon pipes under our warehouse so we could connect the buildings without having to add more wires. Ultimately, using the deserted pipes underground, Ed replaced all of our lines with high speed data lines so we ran at over 200 mbps which was unheard of 10 years ago. As the wireless world has evolved, so has Ed's company. We are very data driven and Ed has always stayed ahead of the technology and upgraded us to new software and systems through the years. We were one of the first companies to go totally wireless and this ultimately ended up saving us a lot of money on monthly bills. Ed has done work for us for over 20 years and they always answer the phone, they always send someone right out and they always let us know what our costs will be. They are as fine a vendor as we deal with and I have to add that Ed does a significant amount of work, pro bono, for Hartford homeless shelters and soup kitchens. He has never mentioned that part of his business to us (I'll bet to anyone). He is that kind of man.

You'll notice all the pictures are really, those posted by Greg and none of them are actual Customer pictures. He is an imposter and anyone who hires him or tries to do work with him is going to get screwed. When you do get him on the phone and call him on it he just hangs up. We contacted Cliff at American Business Telephone, who came to Trumbull with Howard to educate us and show us equipment. We have been computerized since 1982, but were not up to speed with VOP. They explained everything we needed to know in an easy to understand way. We hired American Business Telephone to rewire our shop for both our computer and telephone networks as well as purchase/install our new telephone system. We could not have been happier and would HIGHLY Recommend them for all your communication and network needs. Cliff is especially readily available after hours to solve any problems or answer any questions. We had an outage with had nothing to do with our inside phone systems, but rather a problem with our T1 line outside the building. Cliff spent hours trying to find a solution and placed many calls to our T1 provider who Cliff had no association with. What other company would do that? I mentioned to Cliff our children were going to be in Europe for the Summer at school and Cliff told me that their smart phone can connect via the internet into our VOP over with the IPitomy telephone system to save on calls in the USA. Cliff spent the time to set up the IPitomy as well advising how to configure the smart phones to do this. All at no extra cost to us! The service this company gives is outstanding! He also helped me save some money on my home internet Frontier bill and by switching me over to post paid (I was prepaid these last few years). They added unneeded charges to our…read moremonthly bill, didn't let us know about better offers, and worst of all charged us $29.99 to make us wait until the store to activate the new phone when we specifically asked several times if we could leave. Just so you know, the answer is yes. You can leave and make them waive their $29.99 "Setup & Go Service" charge. The fact that I would have been better off calling Verizon has me livid. I've had to spend the rest of the day fixing my bill, especially the monthly charges they added without alerting me to them. An entire day wasted having to deal with Verizon in store, on the phone, and by chat.
