We went to T- Mobile store before to ask about how to switch over a phone number into a current phone line. We understand the main phone holder has to contact customer service, seek permission to switch over, then the new person to allow the new number be added into the plan. For some odd reason, out of a store of five employees. It's odd that we still needed to contact customer service separately when even if it is not up to them what is decided- they can still contact customer service because this is a particular task that should be done in the store. Before we came into the store, we saw they could help or else why would we come in. One employee did point us in the right direction. The girl we were originally speaking to, she wasn't listening to what we said and was too busy goofing off when she wasn't paying attention. At least we received an answer, she wasn't helpful. Guidance we needed, this should be solved at the store. It would be more convenient because we are all there for the same purpose to be on the same T- Mobile line. read more

I would Give zero if I could. Phone had a tiny little chip On the edge of the glass. Fine. Not a eligible trade In, but maybe a little Customer Service And try to explore a different deal for us. Screen repair, max 150, and they gave up a customer of over 10 years. Lol 150 US dollars. Low and behold, Verizon took the phone as a trade in and we switched today. Wow, have things gotten worse. I walked into an empty store with a broken phone. I watched these kids do the same web search I did for a solution to the problem. They had no solution for me and told me to go see Samsung. I had to go back to work. BTW, I figured out how to fix it without T-Mobile or Samsung. I'm more qualified for this job than T-Mobile's employees. Wow, they're terrible. On the bright side, T-Mobile's phone support is the exact opposite of their store support. The "Team of Experts" concept works. Too bad they haven't figured out how to get an expert into a store. Re: T-Mobile's response: I never denied your help, I just thought standing around watching your employees watch the same instructional videos I watched before coming to the store is a waste of time. I have a been a long time customer of T-mobile for over 10 years and I have never experience the worst customer service that I got here. The manager Harry gave me the a hard time about my ID. My t-mobile acct is with my middle name first and my License had my first name first same last name. I then proceeded to give him my Costco card with photo ID with my full name on it completely spelled out and that wasnt good enough. I was appalled at the poor level of customer service I received here. I stormed out of there without a phone and will be rethinking my phone service. Stay away from this location:( read more

Amazing how good day can turn into a bad day. There's a new assistant manager I think she's Korean that has this personality that just spews the attitude I hate you. LOL I'm usually a very relaxed and composed person. But this person gave off an unprofessional personality and stuck up personality that made you just not want to be there. To the point that I just left because I didn't want to be bother with it. But I could be wrong maybe if there's a full moon. Lol My advice is if you have any issues wait for the real manager she has the personality she has a welcoming personality and willing to help you. read more

If I could give this a negative rating,I would. On Nov. 21, I brought 3 unlocked Iphone 5 units to TMobile Fort Lee. Ingris, the manager assisted me to install 3 tourist plan sim cards. She personally installed the sim cards on the three units. I gave one phone each to my son and daughter in law. Unfortunately, our calls to each other and to other persons here in New Jersey could not connect. we also could not get any cellular data unless we switched to wifi setting in a wifi area. I visited a TMobile store on 55th and 3rd Avenue, New York and they told me that the TMobile sim card does not work with Iphone 5 and the store should not have sold is the sim cards. I called the TMobile shop in Fort Lee and the person answering told me that Iphone 5 is not compatible with the TMobile system - and I told her that the sim cards were installed by Ingris, the manager who should not have been ignorant of that fact. The lady also said there was nothing they could do and they could not give me a refund. I think this is downright DECEIT on the part of Ingris - just making a dishonest sale!!!!! read more

I have never been to a more unwelcoming store than this one. After many years with AT&T we consider switching to T-Mobile so I came to this store to get some information. When I entered there were a very few customers and 4 or 5 sales people. None of them even looked at me. After standing there for a couple of minutes I approached one of sales persons and asked if someone was available to answer my questions. His response was extremely rude: "NO! You've got to give us some time, mam!" I asked if I should take a number, get in line somehow and again got "NO, JUST WAIT!" Well, I certainly did not expect them to drop their customers to work with me but "just a minute, please wait, we will be with you shortly" would help. Absolutely lazy, rude, obnoxious sales reps. Went to open up 4 new lines with 4 new phone purchases (almost $2,500 worth of phones alone), and came out empty. Sales reps were not willing to help, but pass time on their own. Chewing gums, listening to music. Yes, they were busy browsing the music lists on their company provided smartphones. Went in to the store today and was greeted/services by the most obnoxious person I've encountered in a while. I was so annoyed I literally walked out fuming. I called to complain to a manager who actually made me feel listened to and like he actually cared. I returned later and was helped by the sales associate the manager referred me to. He was super accommodating, patient and kind. I received amazing customer service! This was so appreciated considering my experience earlier in the day. I would definitely return and feel comfortable letting management know about any issues because they will listen and resolve any problems that arise. read more

It was once a great store when David was around, very unfortunate that Dennis and other untrained staff ruined the place. No one ever explained anything and you see charges on your bill for no reason. Rude and bad customer service, paid almost 1k full price for a phone and being treated like crap. If you have a choice, do not visit them unless David is there. read more

I stopped paying my bill at this particular store because there are never enough employees to service the insane amounts of customers and the self-service ATM to pay your bill is marked as 'out of service' most times I've gone. I'd rather drive all the way to Wayne to find a store that isn't understaffed to pay my bill! read more

I was one of the unfortunate people that had the note 7. One would think that all reps would do everything in their power to fix the situation. That may be the case over the phone and maybe even other locations, but certainly not this one! I told the rep that I wanted the upcoming LG V20 since that phone was closet specs wise to the note 7. I returned the note 7 (twice) and was told that all s7 and s7 edges were out of stock. Per the suggestion of the rep, he gave me a LG G5. Ok fine, was only going to use the phone for a week and half, 2 weeks tops. Turns out that I had to use one of my jumps to get it and that I had to pay roughly $50. Rep assured me that they can return the fee when I upgrade, just bring the phone back. Fast forward to today, I walk into the store and present the G5. They tell me they can't return the phone unless I bring original box, accessories, and receipt. Go back home and get the box and receipt. Drive back to the store with everything they needed. I hand them them items and instead of processing everything, they go to their back room, along with a few other reps and tell me that they will be right back. 20 mins later they come back stating that they cannot return the phone because it was past the 14 days return window (useful piece of information that was not given initially). They now state that the only way to fix it is if I purchase the phone outright. I refuse to pay for a phone that was used for 2 weeks and I had made it clear that this was a loaner until the LG V20 came out. The rep in store quickly brushed me away and told me that she could not do anything and to come back on Monday and speak to a manager. Seriously? You're allowing a customer service issue to escalate and be pushed onto someone else? A quick phone call to customer service and in 5 minutes they were resolve the situation and emailed me a label and closed out the phone. This particular location has been a nightmare to work with and I most certainly will never return. If you value your time, please stay away from this location!! read more

Went to transfer data from old iPhone to new one. No acknowledgment from staff when you enter the store which looks as neglected as the customers. When I finally got a clerk (I think his name is Ryan), he was rude and skipped over important steps like Face ID, saying that I would need to set that up later. He could not figure out how to transfer the data and kept tapping on the screen of the new phone. When I asked him what was wrong, he got defensive and annoyed, and claimed that nothing was wrong. He would not explain what he was doing. Clerk then took a personal call while working with me that lasted a couple of minutes. After he finished his call, he asked me to enter my password, but when it didn't work, he insinuated that I was entering the wrong password (I was not). I finally decided to leave without having the work done. I went to another T-Mobile store and got a lot better service. read more
