Sorry for giving TMOBILE a bad review, but ever since swapping our internet/phone service to TMOBILE, we've had nothing but problems and empty promises. We spoke with Nancy via telephone who set up our transition and promised us $300 with gift cards for changing providers. She said it would take a few weeks to receive the cards. That was 8-months ago. No gift cards. We set-up the original equipment (modem/router) and it was one problem after another. Phone call to service department began. As instructed, we moved the device from one room to another with no luck. The spinning wheel on our TV was constant. Excuses began piling up. The tower is down, the weather, work is being done on the equipment, etc. Finally, a tech suggested we get something called a 'mesh' that enhances reception. Within a few days, a mesh unit was received via mail. The device was set up, poor reception continues. More calls to customer service. Last week a technician said TMOBILE has a new more powerful modem. He supposedly put in a work order, so we dismantle our current system and take it to our closest TMOBILE store and exchange the old for the new. At the store the rep there tells us they don't give out new equipment. More & more frustration. Return home, called customer service again then were told they would mail the new unit to us. It arrived a few days later. End results, the spinning circle continues, not as bad as before, but still present every so often. We DO NOT recommend TMOBILE at all. read more

Well, T Mobile didn't shut it down and continued charging our credit card almost $500. Didn't get a bill or email. I have been to this location numerous times. Every so.gel time, I have o leave, without getting my issue resolved, and drive to Southcenter, where they are extremely welcoming, and helpful. I never got that experience.at this store...until today, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one. I was helped by a man named Victor, who greeted me OUTSIDE the store. He was very kind, and very helpful, and accommodating. Normally they are very rude, ghetto sounding, and one of them even laughed at me in my face. When we first walked in we were greeted by Jason. It appears that they have a sign up list now to help triage customers so they can be helped in an orderly fashion and also let the associate know what their issue was. We waited about 2 minutes before we were assisted. It happened to be Jason again and he was very nice and helped my girlfriend with her SIM card swap for her new iPhone. We came in with the intent to get the SIM cut, but found out that unfortunately they no longer have a cutter and also her microSIM was an older one that had too large of a chip to be cut down to nano size. We were disappointed but were ready to pay $15 for a new SIM card. We walked over to the register and he asked for my girlfriend's ID, but since I drove she forgot to bring her wallet. He then just told us we could just call in the SIM to have it swapped and gave us the new SIM for free! He didn't have to do that but it was a very kind gesture. Thanks again! I am have been a customer with T-Mobile since 2003. Even though their network can be sketchy at times, you can't beat the price of their plans and they appear to be innovative. read more

I stupidly believed it and walked out with 1 phone and 3 unused SIM cards for lines not used. First month $86, cool. Second month $150. Third month $150 and canceled. Commissions over people here. Lies. We bought two Samsung S8 on the buy one get one deal. Two months later, I finally received the rebate card. Went to pay off the phone and realized I was charged $90 for a charger that was supposed to be $15 as part of an accessory bundle. I had the rep clarify serveral times what the offer was because she kept pushing it and I kept declining it. Went back to the store. Of course, they will not adjust it. I feel like every time I walk into a Tmobile I get swindled. From adding an extra line for no reason to the "full coverage" insurance with a ridiculous deductible that was never mentioned to not getting refunded my "fully refundable" deposit on a loaner phone. I started paying for my iPhone 6 Plus through T-Mobile in September of 2016 while already being a monthly customer for a wireless phone plan. Because T-Mobile advertises their merchandise and plans under a no contract platform, I was informed that my iPhone was "unlocked" when I agreed to purchase it and make monthly payments in an installment plan. On January 11, 2017, I went into the Federal Way, WA T-Mobile store location and spoke to a representative about paying off my entire device. I paid T-Mobile 593.74 USD on the evening of January 11, 2017 and the representative informed me on how to unlock my device. They said I would have to call customer service and do it over the phone because they couldn't do it in the store. I called customer service while I was in the store and the representative on the phone told me I would receive an email providing the steps to unlock my phone. I called customer service four times that evening because I never received the email they said they sent. (Mich L. Employee ID 1242611 told me on the phone that he's not sure why I'm not receiving any email and he wasn't sure why T-Mobile was not unlocking my phone and to try again in 24 hours). Mich L. finally sent me the instructions in a text message. I tried going through the steps and inserted a new SIM card into my phone and was still unsuccessful in unlocking my phone. The store representative instructed me to pay my last monthly bill of 115.00 and I inquired why I was paying that much when part of that bill was due to the cost of the phone which I had paid in full that vey night. My last monthly bill should be 70.00 cheaper. The representative at the T-Mobile store said it was just the way things were done and I needed to go on paying 115.00 for that last month of service before switching to another carrier. He also told me that it was up to the discretion of APPLE company to unlock my iPhone device and now that I had paid off the device in full, there should be no problem. When I returned home I called T-Mobile customer service once again and asked them what my monthly bill was for the billing cycle that had a deadline of January 23 to be paid. The representative adjusted my due balance as 83.11 which was correct because I paid off my device in full. The store representative gave me incorrect information. I immediately paid the amount of 83.11 to close my account and pay my balance. I now have a balance of 0.00 and my account should have been closed but T-Mobile refuses to unlock my iPhone. On January 12,2017 I called an APPLE representative (Senior Advisor Supervisor Valneka) (vpearman@apple.com) (phone: 1-877-203-0418 ext. 1168957) and this APPLE SUPERVISOR told me that it was NEVER at APPLE company's discretion to unlock any device and it was 100% the discretion of the carrier (T-Mobile) to unlock a customer's device. Supervisor Valneka then called T-Mobile in a three way consultation at 3pm. We got T-Mobile's Supervisor Chris (ID # 227606) on the line and asked him why my phone was still unlocked after 24 hours. Chris informed both APPLE supervisor and I that my phone had been unlocked since 12pm that afternoon on January 12, 2017. He also informed us that there was an override on this unlock. I'm not sure what that means. After getting off the phone I tried to use my new SIM card and once again was unable to use my device with another carrier. That same evening, I received an automated message from T-Mobile that stated: T-Mobile Sim Unlock Request Sim Unlock Reference: 11216405 IMEI: 355735072320338 Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. We have received your SIM Unlock Request. Unfortunately, this subscriber is not eligible to receive the unlock code at this time. In order to be eligible, the IMEI must have usage by the mobile number requesting the unlock code and the account must have a minimum of two monthly service payments since first use of requested device. Thank You, Customer Service T-Mobile USA, Inc. This is a scam. My phone is an unlocked phone and there is no contract stipulating otherwise. After paying almost 600.00 USD to T-Mobile for this phone I am unable to use it because T-Mobile refuses to unlock my phone. On January 13, 2017 at 2pm APPLE supervisor VALNEKA called me to ask for an update and I told her that I received this email from T-Mobile that informed me my device was now ineligible for an unlock. There are certain people who are good at sales. You got to be: convincing, enthusiastic, out-going, believe and have a lot of knowledge about your product, etc. I am sure there are a lot more qualities that a successful salesman needs but I believe the most important skill that a salesman needs to have is the ability to make the customer feel comfortable in his or her purchase. I needed a new plan and I saw that T-Mobile had a new 1000 whenever minutes plan for only $39.99. Being that I am a huge fan of T-Mobile I decided to come here and change the plan I currently have to this one. Right now I have a family plan with my mom because we talk a lot and it just seemed cheaper at the time. Besides, with this new plan I would feel like a big boy who is all growns up. So when my mom and I came in here the two salesmen didn't even look at us. This is not a bad thing because it gave us time to see if there were any new phones we wanted. But it got kind of weird when the people who came in after us got asked if they needed help. Maybe it looked like they had money or something? No big deal. When we finally got a sales man, we got one of the most indifferent human beings around. See, I thought that a salesman would try to give you all the information about his or her product that they think you would need. It was so difficult to get information from this guy. Instead of telling us all the wonderful things about this new plan, he waited until we got more specific with our questions. He seemed more concerned about selling us the phones we selected than the plans we wanted. When he walked to the back to get our phones, we decided to leave because he really made us feel uncomfortable. I understand that he might have had a bad day, or was really tired, or whatever. I have a Nexus LG 4. The charging port was defective on the phone and it was replaced via warranty. When I got the 2nd phone on June 4th, that phone worked for one day, then again the charging port was defective. That phone was replaced June 7th and the same thing happened again but along with the charging port issues, the phone also freezes up. The phone powered down and I was unable to get it to turn on again. That phone was was replaced again, now I am having the same issues. The phone has died. The phone has been replaced 3 times. I am on my 4th exchange. Tmobile employees are a bunch of F'ing liars!. I was told that after 3 warranty exchanges in a 90 day period that If I was still experiencing problems the phone could be exchanged for a different model. The phone I received on Friday is not working and now I'm being told that their policy has changed (when since last Friday) and I can only exchange the phone for the same model. My options are to BUY another phone model. I am going to buy another phone alright, but it will not be from them! I am SO fed up with the run around and games and lies that I am being put through. I have been with T-mobile 11 years and as of recently they no longer honer there upgrade policy for after 2 years of service you receive a new phone for a discounted price. But what they do honer is that you locked into your contract and will pay an outrageous termination fee or you can pay $600 dollars in payments for a new phone! After 11 years of happy service I've never been so unhappy with your company, I will never use T-mobile again and won't let any friends or family go with your service. read more

Went to replace a phone case I had bought a month ago that broke within three weeks. Didn't have a receipt but they were able to look it up. Replaced the case with a new one and put it on for me, usually with this sort of thing I have to argue with the sales associate for awhile but these people were friendly and happy to help. read more

He got me fixed up in less than 5 minutes. I am very happy with his service and his willingness to go out of the way to help me. Do NOT Go to this T-Mobile store. They do not know the specifics on plans nor do they take the time to review account details. Great customer service for buying a phone through them. Horrible customer service fixing any plan errors they made, misinformation given, or accountability for their mistakes. Poor customer service doesn't stop at the Federal Way T-Mobile store. To correct or revise plan details requires calling Customer Care, which I haven't waited less than 30 minutes in a phone queue. They say you can leave a call back number and an agent will return your call, but that option doesn't work for the Blackberry sold to me at this store. read more

I came back to T-Mobile because of promises of better signals and promotions they had at that time. If I buy a Samsung Galaxy9, get 2 lines, etc..... then I fill out a form that goes to Samsung and receive a new 65" HD smart T.V then after doing everything that day and paying out the high dollars they said I do not qualify. and this is what brought me in as I am 65 and have a tiny t.v and they said they checked with their higher ups, managers and sorry. the guy also put on a screen protector front and back and cracked the screen, I didn't see it and when I did, I went in and they said they don't have any in stock there or at 3 other stores cause now their big seller is the Samsung Galaxy 10. I now have 2 cracks on my screen protector and I take excellent care, it was their fault again....... Who makes it right with T-Mobile? He was super awesome, friendly and got stuff done quickly. We had to go back recently due to a billing issue, but between him and one of the managers hector, they solved the problem and everything was great. Don't use T-Mobile. I am chained to them now because of the required 2-yr. contract. My phones failed, I sent them back to T-Mobile so I wouldn't be charged for them. I just got a bill for $500 for phones they say never got sent back to them. "Merry Christmas, sucker, you just gave us $500! Oh, you sent them back? I don't think so. Pay up." Funny coincidence that TWO of the most-recent reviews are from the tiny town of Milton, WA, a "postage-stamp" size village just outside of Tacoma. When I was hit this month with what I thought was an outrageous charge for going over the minute limit of my plan, I tried to call my local T-Mobile office in Federal Way, WA (which was, to be blunt) a pain in the butt. WHY they don't just (1. List their local telephone number, and (2. Have a real person answer the call, I don't know...But, suffice it to say, they don't), ANYWAY, I ended up talking to some people in Nashville, who adjusted my bill to the tune of $125 down from the $275 in over-use minutes, and moved me to a plan that gives me UNLIMTED MINUTES for $50 a month. SO, in the final analysis, it was the case of "The squeaky wheel gettin' the grease"! If you have a problem with T-Mobile, you should DEFINITELY call 'em up and give them the chance to put things right. I may be out $150 for going over the limits of my prior plan...But, with UNLIMITED USE for $50 a month, this shouldn't ever happen agan. AND, getting $125 back, while not a total refund, is "better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick". as Dad used to say. read more
