This is my go-to T-Mobile store now because of Tim. Tim was the representative who helped me and my family. He spent hours with us to solve an issue we were having. Tim was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. We really couldn't have asked for more. I went into the store very frustrated about my situation, but Tim was so helpful and had us smiling and laughing and feeling secure that everything would be ok, which it was in the end. Going on two months and we're still trying to fix the monstrosity they created with our account. On top of being in the store for much longer than necessary, with literally nothing but a mess made, they were also extremely rude and more focused on whatever videos they were watching on their phones. All that literally just to transition two numbers. Thankfully another store and the main general line have been able to slowly piece by piece fix their mess. But what an absolute headache for no reason. Please get the proper training so you aren't causing issues for people. read more

Just bought 2 phones from them recently. They had my phone most of the afternoon to merge my info to new phone. They somehow wiped out a good chunk of photos and half my contacts. A very expensive, frustrating experience. Will not go back. read more

I went into the Birmingham, MI store on Woodward Ave. on Sunday, Sept. 12th. I was wearing a mask and have been vaccinated. I am older and have some medical issues. Neither of the employees were wearing masks. I asked if they were vaccinated and both said they did not have to answer that question. I then left the store and went to another T-Mobile where all employees were wearing masks. I will not be going to the Woodward store again. read more

I may be one of the most indecisive people I know when it comes to big purchases. Well hell, I have admitted it takes me 20 minutes to buy toothpaste and that's usually about $3.00. . . I have been a T-Mobile customer since I have had a mobile phone--I think I signed up in 2003. Over the past seven years I have been quite happy with my phone bill and that is more than just smiling in thinking that Catherine Zeta-Jones may be sending me my bill, though word on the street is that she has been let go again, but I still believe. As true as my loyalty is to T-Mobile, I have also been a faithful Nokia follower. There's some thing comfortable about the design, or maybe it's that it's familiar. Well, everything has been fine up to a few weeks ago when I lost two numbers on my keypad. I don't know where number 1 went, thankfully I was able to find number 4. . . coincidentally it has been two years and it's time to upgrade. Enter T-Mobile Birmingham. For the last three year's I have usually visited the Royal Oak store but thought I would give Birmingham a go since I was in the neighborhood and the last time I was in Royal Oak I wasn't exactly thrilled by my service. Walking into the Birmingham location I was promptly greeted by 4 smiling T-Mobile team members and we started the long conversation about what I wanted in a phone. Do you remember the scene in Mary Poppins where they sing the list of qualifications for the perfect nanny? That's how I felt. I haven't yet found the phone of my dreams but have been have been encouraged to come back to see the new arrivals this month. I ended up spending two hours in the store. It may have been excessive but we covered a lot of ground. I was really happy I stopped in because I was heavily considering switching over to AT&T to have an iPhone. I am not wild about AT&T's plans because I have such an old contract with T-Mobile that I have an absurd amount of minutes for a low, low price and there's nothing really comparable out there. I haven't fully ruled out changing carriers, but I'm mostly certain I want to remain in the T-Mobile family. I was thrilled to be able to ask the questions that I needed to ask about the phones and get answers and further explanations if I needed them. I honestly don't think phones should be so complicated, but I think I'm in the vast minority of people. Beyond the care of the employees was an incredibly clean store with ample parking for its Woodward location, and the best music ever. While shopping I heard Little Boots, Peaches, Madonna, Goldfrapp, the Bird and the Bee and so much more. I think if I would have a vodka drink in hand I could have stayed for another three hours. If you're a T-Mobile customer I would highly recommend making this your neighborhood store. Rumor has it the Royal Oak store will be closing this September making Birmingham the perfect alternative. read more

I have been so miserable since changing my cell service from Verizon to T Mobile that it affects me daily. Dropped calls, not receiving call. Not be notified when I get a text to not being able to send and receive text messages. When I first switched services I felt that the young lady presenting the idea to me was very knowledgeable and made it very easy for me to get this done. Great customer service I though. Right? Wrong it's 3 months later I still can't get them to pay my termination fee from Verizon's. Insult to injury I just had a heated discussion with this same knowledge girl about how it's all my fault. NIIICE! Don't switch it's not worth it I promise. Ugh! read more

So I've been with T-Moble for almost a year now. My first payment was in July 2012 but I didn't end up getting my phone in October. The reason I was getting a smart phone was because they had a buy one get one free deal for the month of July. I was going to get my phone then but they had trouble getting the phones to the store. T-Moble said that they would call me when they got the phone. Weeks went by before I got the call. When I finally did get the call they had me come into the store, so I did. Then I waited for hours in the store. Finally a person from T-Moble told me that they had a problem moving all the data over. Then I waited for a few more weeks until I got another call. By this time it was the end of September. I went into the store and got my four phones. My two sons got Galaxy s2 and my wife and me got Galaxy s3. s Since it was the end of September, the people at T-Moble said that I couldn't get the deal. That made me furious but I was fine. After almost a year, but not quite, my son's phone broke. We went to the store and without touching his phone, they said we needed to upgrade it. But we couldn't afford an upgrade. So after a day or two I called T-Moble and they said that the warranty expired. That made me more than furious. I explained to them that the phone was not in my possession until the end of September. But they just kept saying that the warranty expired. T-Moble needs to make up their mind weather I get a warranty or I get the deal from a year ago.
