My family and I decided to take the plunge and switch over to T-Mobile and chose this store to explore our options/pricing and discuss how all the parts would move since we wanted to combine 2 separate family contracts into 1 shared plan. We initially came into this store over a week prior and were patiently helped by a rep (whose name I forget). He explained the timing of unlocking our phones, fees T-Mobile would cover since a couple of our phones were still under contract at our previous carriers, etc. This past Wednesday, we went back in to make the switch. We arrived close to 7:30pm - which was just 1/2 hour before the store was set to close. When we arrived, there were 2 reps working and both were occupied with other clients with another couple of clients waiting. We decided to wait, and after about 15 minutes or so, one of the reps (Elzie) was able to help us. Due to the complexity of combining the 2 contracts (5 lines in total), straightening out the info we had been told by our previous carrier and even calls to T-Mobiles's toll free #, keeping most of our phones after the switch, and adding a new phone, we had tons of questions. Elzie patiently answered everything and guided us toward what made the most sense as far as timing, porting #s, etc. That evening, we ported 4 #s but had to still unlock 1 more line before we could activate that phone with T-Mobile. Elzie gave us his contact info and told me to call him with any questions so we could save another trip back into the store. My 2 cents is that Elzie definitely went above and beyond to help us and he did so with a smile, friendliness, and with complete disregard for the store closing time and staying extra late to make sure we were squared away. Yesterday, I took him up on his offer as I encountered a little hiccup with the previous carrier whilst attempting to unlock the last line. Again, he kindly guided me as to what to say and do with the other carrier - and it worked! As for the store itself, it's a pretty good size, spacious and is well laid out and maintained. There are lots of devices and accessories from which to choose and its greatest asset is definitely employees like Elzie and the other gentleman who helped us during our initial visit. Shared parking lot with other stores in this complex but have never had an issue with finding a spot. read more

If you want to not be greeted or acknowledged, no real customer service, and just treated like a nuisance, go to this T-mobile. Just rude workers, who don't even look at you. I usually go to the one in New Hyde Park and highly recommend that one instead. I won't return to this one again. read more

Jay and Supervision stole $140.16 Device Credit, a Thief is a thief no matter what. From other reviews, it seems obvious there are a few shady workers here. It's going almost two months and the phone they took have not gotten to T-Mobile, the specialist clearly said when they receive the phone I will be credit back. Now Jahaira the New GSM seems to be incomprehensible (SMH) as I Show and Explain. If you weren't there, don't tell someone what you think or believe what happen. read more

Only reviewing for two very courteous workers in particular. One was an older woman who appeared to be a manager and the one that attended to me named Lee. They both addressed my concerns and were thorough in helping me, plus extremely friendly. Very warm energy in there plus I got a great promo on a new iPhone. read more

My husband and I have using this particular T-Mobile retail store for over 10 years. The former employees were always courteous, friendly and helpful. The last couple of visits we noticed that there are always new employees, never the less, we have always been satisfied with their customer service. On our last visit we encountered a customer service worker who appeared to have a chip on his shoulder. He was neither friendly or engaging. While in discussion with his manager about the stores restroom policy, this employee injected himself in our conversation and said we were being "disrespectful" for questioning the policy. He continued to chastise us and the discussion escalated to the point of him being asked to stop talking by his manager. He continued until he was told to leave the front of the store. The manager apologized for his attitude and completed the service we came in for. in completing the text survey from T-Mobile regarding our customer service experience, we explained the incident we had. T-Mobile promptly called us to follow-up on our complaint. A week later we received a formal letter from T-Mobile stating that they demand that we cease and desist from verbally abusing their employees or our service will be terminated. Never a mention about the disrespectful treatment we received by this employee who was partially responsible for the incident. I guess T-Mobile feels its fine to mistreat long standing customers. We are very disappointed. Hopefully, real customer service training will take place. I realize finding help to work in stores these days is hard, but the customer still has a right to be treated with dignity and respect. read more
