My mom went to get a new phone last week. She later received an email that she left a review for angel. Which she did NOT! My mom trusted him with her phone and he used it to leave a review for himself. Today we went to the location and spoke to the manager Jasmine. Her response was "I'll have a talk with him. Angel likes his Google reviews". No apology, no empathy, and when I asked her what she was going to do to rectify the situation for my mom she responded with an attitude, "what would you like me to do? I can help change your Google password". We told her she could have at least apologized in which her response was a condescending I'm sorry but what else do you want me to do? In what world would I have mom trust her with her phone again? Honestly it's more upsetting of how the manager jasmine responded to the whole situation. This is an authorized T-mobile dealer so unfortunately, will not be up to standards of the actual T-mobile storefront. The person who helped me added a case, pop-socket and a screen protector at a crazy cost. I never gave permission to when purchasing my iPhone. Terrible. Dishonest. They need to shut this store down and hire new folks. read more

I don't usually write bad reviews for places but I have never went to a place where the person accused me of doing something wrong when they were wrong in the first place... I went with my wife (Saturday afternoon, 03/27/2022) because she wanted to move from AT&T and keep her number. The guy that was working there said it shouldn't be a problem and that we need to get some info from AT&T first. We did that and he put the sim card in my wife's LG G8 phone. He tried placing a phone call which worked but the internet wasn't working (there was a notification saying that it couldn't establish a connection to the APN server). I tried changing the network type to "automatic" and adding another APN which later I deleted and restored it to the original APN settings that the sim card had. The person working there tried getting it to work but nothing we tried fixed it. He said numerous times that it did work before I was "messing with it" which is not entirely correct since the internet was not working (if it was working then we would have just been out of there already). After about 20 minutes of both of us trying to figure out what the issue was (and him mentioning it did work before we messed with it like 4-5 times and me explaining to him that the settings I changed and changed back afterwards shouldn't matter... Like seriously, the guy is working at T-Mobile, he should have some basic understanding of how phone settings work) he told us to call customer service so they could help us. We called customer service and SURPRISE: This phone model is INCOMPATIBLE with T-Mobile network. The nice lady on the phone told me that this was the first thing the guy at the store was supposed to check. So now we are in a pickle since they won't refund us because it's for the prepaid service and if we want to switch to a 3rd company it's just going to be more trouble and cost more money (and we will risk losing the number) so we will have to get a new phone now that actually works with T-Mobile. So yeah, I don't like to give out bad reviews but when the service person is blaming me for the issues caused by him and then we get stuck with service that will not work or even get refunded I feel like they earned it. read more

Do not go in this store for any reason! Order your phone online and call the customer service number for help. The telephone agents are great! The employees in store are incompetent, rude, and just want to sell you stuff you don't need. They will say you are getting a monthly credit but are really charging you and nothing is ever FREE!! Totally unprofessional and clueless people who work here. Refused to return a phone that was purchased and opened by Hector the manager, a day earlier without a restocking fee. Then told us Sprint system was down and sent us to Downers Grove where they told us to take a hike too. They didn't want to take our return. So because Hector wasn't in the store that day we had to come back again because his incompetent staff don't know how to process a return. We should have looked at reviews before going to the store. We are Sprint legacy customers and this transition has been so terrible. read more

Came back after 5 years thinking this place may have changed and we were looking for a cheaper service. Has not changed. Still the worst. We have been running around in circles for over a week because they had a promotion running and we signed into it being told we were getting said promotion. Turns out- that was a lie. They said they ordered us a phone but when it didn't show up they refused to order a replacement and instead left a family member in the plan without a phone and were not trying to fix the problem at all. Finally we got fed up and called corporate and they warned us to never go back to this location because it happens all the time. Wow. Ringing endorsement. Elmhurst T Mobile - Thee worst. ZERO customer service. The two men working, if that's what you want to call it, had ZERO personality, skills or knowledge. When I was thinking about switching to T Mobile I physically went to the store and asked about some different plans. The answer I received? It's online. Huh? Followed by, something like Can I sign you up? What?! T Mobile indeed does have the best overall plan for my needs, so if you're considering them, go to Costco's cell phone area. The two guys that work there, Matt and I think Hector? are very informative about all cell phone plans. Matt was so excellent. He took his time with me such that I happily switched to T Mobile. But how sad T Mobile allows for employees like those two dummies at Elmhurst. read more

So I came here this past Thursday and Friday with my mom cause we needed to switch plans badly. What a great experience both times. On Thursday we had deseree( i hope I spelled that right) and she helped us more clearly on how it goes and what plan works best for us and what kind of phones to get. She's very sweet and likes to help people. On Friday we got myki. He's so funny and he will make your day lol. He helped us actually get the phones and how to work them and such. We picked the best T-Mobile and couldn't have asked for better service from these two. If we have problems I will wait for one of them. Def recommend coming here with no hesitation. read more

I was in the Elmhurst Il store on route 83 and St charles rd. I ended up having to get a new phone. To make a long story short, Maria was the young lady in the store that had helped me purchase my new phone and answered all of my questions. I was so happy that she was so sweet and patient with my transaction. I had questions that a third grader might ask, but she did not make me feel stupid. Just a shot out to Maria from a very greatful customer. Also a shot out to Daniel! I had a question about my Pandora account on Sunday, also very sweet. Been going to this location for the past few years. I'm a loyal t-mobile customer and every time my husband and I have visited, we have been fortunate enough to have no trouble with our phones or problems with our service coming to these guys here. We updated our phones and the sales associate, Vincent, who assisted us was super helpful and knowledgeable. Man, I normally would dread the process from past experiences because either they'd pressure you to buy accessories or add something else. Nope, not here. Vincent was great, never pressured us to purchase anything else but our intended phones. He helped us set it up, walked us through some nifty app to transfer everything from our old phones to our new ones, and answered any other questions we had. We were out of there in 45 minutes! Sticking to this location for all of our phone needs. Great customer service for sure. read more

My son's three week old phone stopped charging a couple of days ago. He went to the T-Mobile store in Yorktown where they wouldn't give him any help without the account holders permission. They offered to order a new battery which would take three days but couldn't say for sure it that was even the problem. We went to the Elmhurst store the next day and told them the problem. The manager immediately went to tbe back room and brought out a new phone, switched out the battery and voila the phone began to charge. I was never asked to prove my account holder status, I was just treated like a valued customer. This will be my go-to store from now on. read more

There is an odor in this store. That is not the worst part. I paid my monthly bill with a credit card, and they overcharged me by billing me twice. I asked for a credit and was refused. Told to call T-Mobil's corporate 800 number, and they told me to check with the store. I finally had to dispute the transaction. My credit card company just reversed the entire charge. That lead to a nasty phone call from the foreign owners of this store telling me that I needed to hire an attorney, because they were going to sue me. I went to AT&T immediately. Well done T-Mobile. I love this T-Mobile shop--the sales staff, in particular Fay and Marco, go out of their way to solve your problems and give you the best deal. Had the pleasure to deal with them on two separate occasions lately--one for a broken Samsung phone and the other to purchase an I-Phone 6. Marco went above and beyond to help me get my pics and vids off the broken phone and he sent it back to T-Mobile for me. Fay had the best advice regarding my daughter's I-Phone 6 and always gives us a deal. Love to deal with them!! Highly recommend. read more

This review is just about this location and not about T-Mobile as a service. I have had nothing but great service from T-Mobile. This location however was the exact opposite. Was in the area and needed to turn in my Jump On Demand device. The store was empty with 4 people working. When I went in I was approached by Rudy the store manager and asked if I needed any help. I had my apple watch which I had to mail in and figured I would bring it in just in case they could take it. He abruptly tells me I have to mail it in. That is fine but I don't need the attitude. I then told him that was ok but I still needed to turn my phone in. When he asked me if I turned off find my iphone I told him yes I erased all content and settings. He abruptly again tells me that doesn't do it. (yes it does you have to put in your password to do so otherwise it would defeat the purpose). The entire time I felt like I was in the store bugging him. He did get the phone traded in so that is why I gave him 2 stars. Over all avoid this location though unless you want attitude to go with your trade in. read more

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We recently moved from AT&T to T-Mobile and my son's brand new phone is not working on the T-Mobile network. I've spoken several times to store associates and to Ariana, the store manager. They have not been helpful, have been deceptive and have not offered any solutions. I've also emailed the district manager, Eric Saucedo, three times and have been completely ignored. I definitely would not recommend T-Mobile. read more

Had the worst experience there last month. There should be a 0 star option. Employee Julian was very helpful but during the transaction sales associate Jimmy began reprimanding Julian for not signing into a register. He did this for minutes until I finally had to tell jimmy to stop speaking to him like that, telling him He was being condescending and rude. I was completely disturbed by witnessing the way an employee was spoken to. I asked for the manager and realized she was standing a few feet away witnessing the whole interaction and said or did nothing to stop it. Hispanic heavier set woman, don't know name. Worthless for me to help her understand how to treat employees. So sad to see a helpless employee treated that way. If you must visit this store ask for Julian. He deserves the business. The store is a sad reprentation of a T-Mobile store. Manager must go. Get someone who cares about their employes and customers. Worst experience of my life! I went inside the store and asked the manager, (Tony Faraji) for help since my phone was not charging properly. He told me that he cannot order a new phone and I need to call customer service. I was unsure why I need to call customer service when I am in a t-mobile store and he can order a new phone from his computer. In the end, he told me to GET OUT of the store and go somewhere else. Unbelievably poor customer service. Just no clue. Manager has no customer service training. I went in to switch from AT&T and left hours later still an AT&T customer because after over two hours they still could not make make the phones work. Their technical support line hung up -- on their own fellow employees! It's real clear to me the T Mobile marketing operation is way ahead of their actual ability to deliver. I have to say I was worried about going to this store because of the reviews that I've read. But I figured everybody needs a chance right? So I called ahead of time and I spoke to Desiree who was so sweet on the phone and invited me to come in and go over the plans. Se helped me figure out the plan that I needed for me and my family which consists of me my mom and my daughter and Myki who's the manager was also amazing. I have to tell you that I've never had so much fun searching for a phone plan. Those two did everything under the sun to make our time pleasant including my mother and gave me the best deal I could possibly have. They were very attentive, service-oriented as well as had great personality and sense of humor. Not only did I have a great experience with them but I had an issue with my bill a month later and they remembered me when I called. They helped me figure it out and took care of the issue for me. I highly highly recommend going to their store and speaking with them. Anything that you need... they are there willing to help you, understand your needs and give you the best deal that they can possibly give you. The Manager is ignorant and won't even pretend that he wants to help you! I went there twice past week, talking to 2 different associates about the same issue. Both were giving me the same answer. When I decided to use their service and came back 3rd time, they denied what 2 people in the same store told me just 2 days earlier. And Manager was ridiculous to the point that he denied a person I described works in their store!!! DO NOT EVEN GO THERE! Scammed me $1440, stole 2 iPhone 6s and many hours wasted. The representative told me that there is promotion going on with iPhone. Buy one and get one free when I turn in qualifying iPhone. I decided to buy two iPhone 8s and get two more iPhone 8s for free by turning in two of my old iPhone 6s. Month later I get a bill and I was charged for 4 iPhones. Called T-Mobile directly but they won't correct the issue because according to them, that offer wasn't being offered. I called the T-Mobile dealer and spoke with manager in which she informed me that she will turn in the issue to her district manager. Of course, I never get call back from her and when I call back, I get non-sense excuses. I was cooperative and patient but this went on for two months now. When I finally got angry with her, she told me that a customer is waiting and put me on hold. And of course, she never came back to speak to me. T-Mobile is acting irresponsibly by pushing off the mistakes of their dealers to their customer and this T-Mobile dealer is scamming their customers. FCC is currently closed because of government shutdown. I'll be filing complaint with FCC as soon as they are open. read more
