Because I'm so livid at this point it's taking a lot for me to remain positive and concise . Initially I requested to exchange my phone number for a new number. Not a new phone , not an additional line . A NEW PHONE NUMBER!!! I have received two additional phones on my account without my knowledge, but the phones do not physically exist which brings me to 4 phones on my account . I have been on the chat line 4 times , I have spoken directly to customer NO SERVICE by phone about 6 times !! Explaining it was only supposed to be a new phone number swap which is free. Wait for it ! Then the rep disconnected my phone and I couldn't make any calls . Ha !! This all happened in a span of two days . Ok , since the reps do not speak or understand clear English, not even by chat . I went to the nearest AT&T store. This location . The rep. restored the phone service and swapped out the old PHONE NUMBER for a NEW PHONE NUMBER . The old number was to be removed . Supposedly . Wait for it ! I get a text message 1 week later with a bill extremely high and congratulating me on the new phone . What phone ? The old number was never removed . This is how I ended up with 4 phone lines and two physical phones. What sense does this make? I was standing in front of the rep and he was an American. Which spoke clear English and he still didn't satisfy my concerns. Yesterday , July 8, 2026 a rep by the name of Peter called me apologizing for the confusion. He said , he didn't understand the notes on my account and wanted to know which phone number is to be deleted ? I hate to use the word pissed , but I have reached to the extent of being pissed off . What ? Once again for the millionth time I explained the situation. He repeated my request back to me more than 5 times to make sure I felt he understood. Later that day . I received a text that the 90.00 charge was removed and the old phone number will be removed on the next billing cycle . The bill still looks relatively high for 2 phones . How do I know that I'm not being charged a hidden fee for something I didn't request? I've been with AT&T as a customer when it was doing business as Bell South Mobility. Decades ago ! Probably 30 years or more . Is it time for me to leave ? Cell service shouldn't be this expensive anyway , but at least provide the customers care I deserve ! I will be writing a complaint to corporate . How is it that a communications company lack communication and comprehension?

Store manager gave false information on trade-in on an iphone saying that my upgrade still reqiured…read moreto pay off the rest of the phone. after reviewing AT&T online was able to get the upgrade and do the trade in without the BS of some pay off. After calling the store about the situation they're only reasoning was that it my have been some sort of "glitch" on the stores end....doubt that. I guess it is more of a way for them to get their commission check. Basically just do all your business with getting a phone online.

Just recently went from AT&T to Verizon, and it was the worst decision I could've made. We signed up gave him the old phone and got the Verizon phone and thought everything was set. We get our first bill and his phone is not six dollars and that is not including the service fee and startup charges. And we never received our $600 gift card like promised. When we called to ask about it, they said they still had our phone and it was never turned in. They were going to fix the situation now and we got a ticket number to reference it from the "manager" Sophia. I Was also told they would follow up in 24 hours to make sure we received our gift card. no one followed up. We never got a gift card. We went back to the store to find out what was going on. They looked up the reference number and nothing was linked to it. Everything everyone said was a lie. They basically just stole our money to gain our business and lie to us. Do not go there do not trust them. It's all a scam. I am still to this day trying to get in touch with a true manager to speak too but no luck.

He called and complained that it had broken. They said that it had to have been dropped that putting a case on would not have broken the screen. I called and said my son had not dropped it - being with a broken screen for months he was careful. They would not replace the screen for free and said we'd have to pay for the replacement - the day after we had had it replaced. Lousy customer service.
