The teachers regularly share photos of the children's daily activities -- as a working parent, it always makes my day to see what my little one is doing while I'm on break. We helped advocate for the return of their kindergarten program and loved sharing how magical it felt -- the chickens, the nature-based learning, and the emotional intelligence philosophy. For a while, it really was everything we wanted. But then something changed. When a serious safety concern arose, we found ourselves feeling that the school's response didn't match the seriousness of what we shared. We felt like the focus shifted more toward minimizing the situation and maintaining appearances, rather than directly addressing the concern or making sure our child was fully supported and safe. We left feeling unheard and unsure that the school was willing to prioritize our child's well-being over maintaining a perfect image. We had expected collaboration and care. Instead, we felt isolated, with no clear communication or plan of action to address what happened. We're not sharing this out of anger or bitterness -- we're sharing it because we believe parents deserve to know how it felt when things didn't align with the promises we once believed in. CMP may look wonderful on the outside. And for many, it may be. But we learned the hard way that the true test of a school's values is how they respond when something goes wrong. If you're considering this school, ask them the hard questions. I Came Over For A Scheduled Appointment Last November 2019 With Mrs. Norma To Get Assistance On My Water Bill Payment. I Followed United Ways Guidelines On What I Was Required To Do, The Water Company Had Their Set Of Instructions And Guidelines On What They Were Suppose To Do And Was Given A Strict Date On When They Needed That Information By For Them To Proceed In Meeting The Due Date Of 20th. Unfortunately, The Water Company Gave All Required Documents And Paperwork On A Later Date Then What Mrs. Norma And The Team She Represents Expected And As A Result, The Check That Was Suppose To Be Sent To The Water Company On Behalf For Me Came To Them Three Days After The Date It Was Due And The Water Bill Company Placed Me With The Burden Of Having To Pay A Late Fee. I Informed Mrs. Norma By Phone About The Concern I Encountered With The Water Company And She Called Me Back By Phone And Told Me "That She Would Look Into The Matter A Little Further And Make A Call To Your Water Company On Behalf For You". With One Call She Was Able To Help Successfully Remove A Late Charge Fee From The Water Company That If Not Addressed Right Away, Could Have Easily Accumulated To A Much Higher Balance From Month To Month . These 3 Again Represent A Few Of The Rare Heroes That Hardly Anybody Know Of And Don't Have No Desire To Be Recognized In That Magnitude. Instead Their Reward Is Seeing A Smile To Faces Knowing That Those Who Came Into Their Location Reached An Above Water Status In Some Way Through Those Who Are Facing Hard Times.
