If I could give negative stars, I would. There are only 2 teachers and both of them seem overwhelmed, burned out and tired. Every time I would go in to either drop off or pick up my child they seemed to not be engaging much with the children. Upon arriving to drop my child off one morning I walked into the room and the kids were sitting on the rug, like they were all on time out or something and it was only 8:30 am. The teacher just stood there, kept raising her voice at the children and wasn't trying to entertain them or redirect them in any way . I then mis-heard her about keeping a door open and she snapped at me, to which my reply "hey is everything ok this morning, you seem really tense" and she just said in an irritated tone that the "kids aren't listening to me today" and I ended up going with m y motherly gut instinct and not allowing my child to be there for the day. I spoke to the school director, Mrs Laguna and it was one of the most bizarre conversations I have ever had with a school administrator. She gaslit me, tried to avoid the actual incident and didn't address my concerns about the way I was treated , let alone my concerns about the amount of actual stimulation, enrichment and overall treatment of the children. The classrooms are bare, there aren't a lot of toys either. My child would come home with marks and bruises that they couldn't explain. One time I went to pick my child up and he only had one shoe on and was playing outside. This is unacceptable, especially for a licensed childcare center. I would not recommend to ANYONE. read more
