Awesome! I…read moredesperately needed an appraisal for my home. It's tax appeal season yall, and yall know how that can go. God is good! I found this appraiser, David, who was a godsend. I told him my property, he ran numbers, crossed referenced homes, checked dates of assessments, and did all kinds of razzle dazzles for me. He was professional, funny, knowledgeable, HONEST, helpful and kind. He did all of that, and I didn't have to pay him anything. Why didn't I have to pay? Because, he cares about people. He knows that pimpin ain't easy. He went above and beyond, what I can imagine anyone else doing. I can't imagine what he would do for paying customers. Mark my word, he is the "go to" appraiser, when and if you need an appraisal. This is who you would want on your side. He will make sure you are not getting screwed, and will make sure every avenue of your home is addressed. Thank you Mr. David. David! David! David! The crowd goes wild!

To preface this stellar review, I actually did not end up working with this inspector due to my…read moretimeframe and him being out of town, BUT I would still recommend and here's why: Kip was extremely communicative from the first call to the multiple texts to the last call. During our call he let me know he didn't think he could meet my timing requirements, but he spent a good 17 minutes letting me know how to properly look for a good inspector. Being a first time homebuyer, all of the information he provided was very useful in my search. He was honest and thorough in his explanations even though it already had been decided we would not be working together. Anyone who takes time out of their night while wrapping up paperwork to help out a new buyer figure out best next moves (no pun intended) is someone YOU should reach out to for your needs. Kip, thank you!

He had to contact me to verify details that he should've recorded during his visit. He had to ask for additional pictures because he failed to take then the first time. When we ask for a reconsideration of homes that were clearly more comparable, it was stated that those homes were in superior condition. Yeah, because those just sold so they looked all nice with fresh paint. He failed to mention the solar panels we had in his report but disallowed a home compare because it had a sauna in the basement. Clearly this service is sub-standard at best.

Any professional will be able to do this in your presence. He was gone for ages. During that time my mom browsed and found about a half-dozen pieces that she was interested in purchasing. When he finally returned to the front of the store he said that the face of the watch fell off by accident and he lost the tiny second hand. She asked if she could go in the back room and look for it. He said no, the area was such a mess, she would never find it. He offered to have his usual out-of-town watch repair person fix it. She shipped the watch to his preferred shop. The repair cost $25, the shipping to and from with insurance was $20. He refused to pay any of it. This is beyond unconscionable. I have never met any business person who broke something and didn't take responsibility for it. He boasts that he sells Rolexes. He flaunts ruby rings on his Facebook page. But he's too cheap and to pay $45 for his own blundering. My mom is a hard working person. Totally unjust treatment -- of a senior citizen at that. Plus he lost her business regarding the items that she would have bought. To cut off your nose to spite your face is never good. Really disgusting behavior Ed Culbreth.
