The service was great but the prices are very high. I got a gel manicure and the total was $55! I had dip powder on before and they charged me $15 just to remove the dip. Will not be going back. read more

Edit**** they removed this review from google Been here 3 times in a month. Kevin messed up my nails twice. Both my fill in and full set did not last 2 weeks. When i informed him of this he took absolutely no accountability AND he accused me of having thin nails...huh? I tried to take it up with the manager who was not only rude she was extremely combative. The neck rolling and raised voice was disgusting to witness. I tried to give them a chance but after being called crazy and being treated like a beggar Im done. My review on Hannah remains. The manager had a narrative and i believe it is because I am black. She lacked professionalism, empathy and proceeded to throw a tantrum verses actually finding a resolution. I absolutely called her a dumb b*tch as she behaved like one. Edit*** after reading the reviews she may not be racist just ignorant. I find it troubling how all of the responses are how how they are willing to provide the service for free if they made an error. But i was dismissed and yelled at. Weird. They said i had 3 days to return as per store policy... cool. But how does that make business sense? I spent 200 in 3 weeks, i live a walking distance from TJ. In the long run they would have gotten more money out of me if customer service mattered. I told her i was going to update my review she stated she didn't care and didn't care if i returned. She couldn't tell you what my issue is as she was too busy yelling and being dismissive. I will be taking my business elsewhere. She also accused me of going somewhere else and messing my nails up .....so please note my GPS. Not only is she a bad business woman, she's a liar. AMAZING! I went to another nail salon which did not give me the greatest dip manicure. The other salon even made my real nails crooked. I stepped into TJ's where they gave me an amazing dip mani and fixed my real nails. I also love TJ's late hours. I'm sure I'll be back again. read more

I get pedicures there regularly and gel manicures and waxing on occasion. I have loved my services there. They are so friendly and don't try to bully you into services or upgrades you don't want. Let me first start by saying this is the worst mani and Pedi I have ever had! She rushed both my mani and Pedi. She did not snip my visible hangnails. She did not remove the visible cotton ball fuzz. She didn't use the cuticle remover to remove the skin around my finger or toes. She did not put lotion or oil around my fingers. I feel like this is the basics of any manicure and pedicure! I will never come back. I don't know if it was the complexion of my skin or just their service! I will do my mani and Pedi myself until I can find a salon that takes pride in their work as well as their customers. I usually always leave a $10 -$15 tip however I left her nothing and got my change back! I hope that anyone who decides to go to this nail place their service is better than mine! Worst experience I have EVER had at a nail salon. They are rude and pushy. They asked what color I wanted my nails, I said no color, I like the natural look or a white tip. They instantly started pushing me into something I didn't want that cost twice as much and they looked horrible. The guy was extremely rough with my nails, left large gaps that looked like my nails already needed a fill in, and didn't file down the acrylic so I had Sharpe points on and under my nails in every direction. They bullied me out of everything I wanted to make more money and just to give my nails fungus. I basically threw $50 away. My first time there and needed dip nails . We had to wait about 30 minutes because they had 2 people working.not a big deal if my nails had been done properly. As my nails were getting done I could tell that he didn't do a very good job of getting the old dip powder off my nails. He made them really short but didn't even ask me. Bottom line my nails started chipping on day 3 and day 4 my thumb nail cracked off. By the end of the week I was back home and went to my regular salon to have them removed. My nail tech said they didn't prep my nail properly and the dip was too thin. They whole thing was rushed and a waste of money. read more

I have been to this salon several times and it has been very nice. I went on 4/9/2022 for a pedicure. The gentleman was pleasant and friendly and the massage chairs are wonderful. I really enjoyed the process. When the pedicure was complete, I put on my flip-flops and left. Once I got home, I put on another pair of shoes and that's when I felt pain in my right heal. When I looked at my heel, it was red, scratched and bleeding. I am assuming it was due to that cheese grater thing. It is still painful to walk. I will not go back. I went with a friend and we got the jelly pedicures. It was delightful! The workers were really nice. They had a plethora of services ranging from acrylics, to lash extensions, to massages. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING HERE!!!! I have been going to this salon about every 3 weeks to get my nails filled since I was a freshman at the near by college (I am now a Junior). They usually do an okay job, but I am never truly satisfied and I always leave frustrated. Today was my last straw. I went in to get my dip removed and to get a normal manicure on my natural nails... one the most simple things you can ask for. Kevin (I think) wrapped my nails in acetone, and then proceeded to go do someone else's nails and left my nails soaking for 30 MINUTES. My hands felt like they were burning off. When he finally gets back, I don't even get an apology and he then tries to chip me short of a manicure by just giving me polish because there were people waiting. The manicure he ended up giving me was very subpar. There was polish all on my fingers and my nails were not filed well at all, I could have done a better job myself. All I did was ask for a manicure and I ended up being there for an hour. When I left my nails ended up smudging because he said I was ready too early, so I just ended up taking it all off. I just got from there and I'm in awe. I asked for ombré pink and yellow nails and they don't look ombré at all. They look disgusting
