This is an easily shoppable store, well organized and pretty clean. The greeter was extremely nice and helpful, giving me a cart that had been cleaned. Cruised around looking for Christmas gifts and to get a feel of back home when shopping Ross was a regular thing and enjoyed every minute of it. I found several items, made a smooth purchase and was out the door pretty dang quick. I will be back when in Grand Forks next!

Went to the front dressing rooms - sign said they were closed, try the ones in back. Went to the…read moreback and sign said they were closed and to try the ones up front. Ok.... I went and asked and found out they had just gotten audited and had to shut the rooms down. Type something up to the effect of all dressing rooms closed today, print it out, and tape it to those signs maybe? Then the line to check out was so long multiple times. Asked one of the cashiers - who was very nice and working efficiently, if they were short staffed. She said no, they had a truck and other employees were helping with that. The thing that got me was the assistant manager wasn't so interested in customer service. Was walking up from the back of the store leisurely and pretended not to notice all the people in line. A quick, I'm opening up another lane after I help another customer, is all it would have taken to give the impression she cared about wanting our money. She went to a counter and helped another customer, taking her time, despite all the people waiting in line. She eventually (finally) started checking others out. I get that maybe they weren't expecting it to be that busy (Saturday before Easter) but at least pick up the pace and communicate with the customers instead of being annoyed she had customers. Something! Maybe she did at some point during the day. It just seemed like she was mad how the day was turning out and she wasn't going to attempt to have customer service skills. She is management and with that comes greater responsibility!!

There's a selection of anything you might need. I don't know how my life would be without Walmart bc everywhere I live, I can't survive without Walmart. My go to place for ice cream, snacks, chocolate, car stuff, clothes, electronics, and even plant based lotions. Very nice return and exchange policy. Thank you Walmart. America and Walmart is the best for shopping in general. But this Walmart in Grand Forks is not so nice. The customer service is not nice. Seems they don't want to work. The manager is not nice. Doesn't really do anything to fix customer service issues. Doesn't feel like there's much care for customers. Just protect the staff. There is a time and place for that but not when there are customers who need help. Disappointed.

This mall is cute and represents the small town feel of Grand Forks, ND. There are food shops, an…read moreeyelash place, a barber, a partial DMV services office, kid friendly play areas, an Asian market w Croatian food, a computer repair shop, the Village for counseling services, a shoe repair shop, Hope Church and youth services, and the animal rescue center, and others. People walk around here for exercise to avoid the typical 0 - 20 degree temps in winter starting October and ending in April. Occasionally and regularly it dips to the negatives of course. I love the small town mall bc it's quiet and manageable. The only thing is there aren't many stores so if you want to go shopping, drive 4.25 hours to Minneapolis for the Mall of America and you will get more stores than you will ever want.

I also used to work at The Ground Round across the street from this mall and there were always Canadian shoppers. Now they all go to Fargo.
