Still, we thought we'd look around at other local furniture stores in the area before we "settled" for what we already knew we wanted at Furniture Row.... There was absolutely no comparison. I'm not going to name names, but none of the 4 other local furniture stores we went to even came close to the quality of furniture that we found in Furniture Row. You might pay a tad more at FR than you do as other stores, but this is furniture that was made to LAST. You won't be replacing it every 2-3 years like you would at most other stores. No creaking, no wobbling, no worn out materials... everything is absolutely top-notch quality at FR. And when you're ready to commit to beautiful furniture sets of amazing craftsmanship, stop by the local FR and ask for Tina. Well, I gave them another chance and I honestly regret it! They text me yesterday saying our couch would be delivered between 9am and 11am. At 10:50 we called and asked where our couch was. The lady didn't know, but said she would call back. We got a call a few minutes later from someone else stating their truck had broken down (real professional! One truck for a whole store?) and was waiting on a rental. I have been sitting home all morning waiting for the delivery and still nothing. We asked since we have been waiting for you, can we get help carrying it in? He replies with, "We can't do that?" Oh, but you can if I paid an extra $100. $100 to help bring it in the house.. Really? Last year I paid at most $50 for delivery and set up! "You don't have to be home when it's delievered". Really? People steal!!! I have put my daily life on hold for their issues and they still can't even give a little. The manager also stated, "We tried to get ahold of you to let you know". They did not! I got ZERO phone calls and ZERO texts. They were quick to text me a time frame yesterday though! I am so unhappy with my experience with this place that I wont ever step foot in there again! We explained our mission and that we were on a budget. She told us to look around and if we saw anything of interest to let her know. We saw only one set. It was located at the far back of the store, positioned so you had to walk past all the more expensive displays both entering and leaving the store. All furniture pieces were ticketed with sale tags, but none stating the original price before pieces went on sale. I requested the original price information from the salesperson. She went back to the checkout area. We waiting on the showroom floor until it was obvious that she didn't intend to return (we watched her look in our direction every so often)so we left. The next evening we tried again. This time it was a male salesman. I asked him for the original price before the sale tag on the couch, chair, ottoman and coffee table. He said it is not Ashley's business model to discuss this, that they don't know the original price. I told him most people like to know they are getting a good deal for their money. He decided to debate. He was angry and I called him on it. They also charge $149 to deliver to a location three blocks away. He says they can charge that because it is a service.... I was kicked out of the store because I told them I had put up with their s*** for to evenings and it was a waste of my time. On the way out the salesman yelled, Have a nice day...ay in a perfect mocking tone. We took ourselves and our cash out and won't look back.....I would give less than a star if it was possible.

She finally came back and said,"There is a district uti in center in Fridley." I asked what time it closed and she rolled her eyes at me and said, "I don't know 6-7." I looked at her and said thanks but you are rude and that we were done. If there is only one chair and 1 chair at the distribution center, why couldn't they just sell it and get that one for the floor model? We walked out and went to Home of Economy and bought a great chair and had EXCELLENT service. Shop local and you get what you pay for...good product and kindness.
