I am taking the time to post a positive review for Applied Roofing as I truly believe they are special and unique. My wife and I lived in Grafton MA years ago and we experienced a tremendous hail storm. It was so bad that the hail destroyed our skylights and our roof. I ended up doing a bunch of research and Applied Roofing continually came up as a good company. I ended up having them come to our house to asses the damage and provide an estimate. (I also did this with two other companies.) In the end, I went with Applied and was really pleased that I did. Applied Roofing did an amazing job. They dispatched a crew that clearly cared about the work that they did, they took their time to do a great job and when the job was done, there wasn't a nail or piece of shingle left behind. In fact, three weeks after the job was done, I received a call from one of their crew, asking me if they could come back and take a look. I later learned that there was one shingle that wasn't sitting properly and they wanted to come back to address it. We then moved to Webster and needed a roof on our new - old house. I called on Applied again and they did an another amazing job. Again, I don't know the owners. This is an independent review from someone who doesn't take the time to provide a review. I do believe that Applied Roofing is special and unique and wanted to share my experience.

Ultimately, considering the scope and cost of this project, he over-promised and under-delivered. If you consider using this business or any business, I strongly recommend that you ask for a detailed accounting of time and materials, and if the plan changes mid-flight, you should ask for a recalculation of the cost basis of the plan. Other landscape companies do this by default, we failed to require this here and we regret it.

The conversion to a stone wall with paver flooring was beautifully executed by a truly talented mason. The sidewalk was created over a formerly sloping crest of side lawn that provided inconvenient, uneven connective access from the front porch (now the favorite spot for relaxing) to the primary functional entry to the home at the top of the drive towards the rear. The mason did a great job on that as well. The Al's team are hard working and were extremely accommodating to our own plan alterations during their construction process resulting from our own evolving garden design plans. The home is in the mid Cape area. AL's Landscaping was significantly less than prices quoted by more locally based landscaping companies. Neighbors continue to complement the transformation. It was a huge upgrade for what I thought to be a very fair price. See top photos in examples provided by Al's landscaping in earlier portion of this website. -R.P.
