Ms Vora deliberately withheld the inhaler after the patient accidentally knocked over a basket of powder compacts in the pharmacy, the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) found at a fitness-to-practise hearing on January 25. Ms Vora consistently denied blackmailing or keeping medication from the patient, but the GPhC dismissed her testimonial as "highly improbable" and ruled to suspend her with immediate effect. WHAT A DUMP, THE WOMAN/OWNER [Pharmacist Snehlata Vora] THAT RUNS THIS IS A CON PERSON [illegally charging 80p transaction fee for using a debit card] ..... SHE BELONGS TO THE CADBURY CLUB ! Whatever you do do not use this place, she is a complete rip-off artist for sure and in fact from Greystone house surgery she has prescribed the wrong drugs/ dose of drugs many times - FACT ! I have never seen a Review status collectively lower than about 3.7 on the star rating, so she must be a WINNER at 1.9 !!!! I've never met such a rude woman. I walked in the shop querying about the sign on the shop door saying 'part-time staff required'. Being new to the area I didnt know quite what i was letting myself in for. She looked at me saying 'who for?' and when i said me she immediately came out with 'i don't employ staff who have babies'. There was a silence and i looked at her in disbelief, i thought she was joking! She went on to say 'i dont employ anyone with children under 10' and 'what happens when your baby is ill?'. I responded saying my partner would be looking after her as that is why i was looking into working evenings. She interrupted me though and I might as well not have said anything as she wasn't listening to me. I said 'how much do you pay per hour anyway' she replied 'theres no point me telling you'. In the end i lost my rag and told her how incredibly rude i found her and that what she was saying was actually 'discrimination'. She proceeded to tell me that i was 'unemployable'. Maybe if i had been a different colour it would have been a different story..Anyway, i walked towards the door and commented to a young lad who was sitting patiently waiting for his prescription, 'its a joke-isn't it?' to which he nodded. If anyone knows of where i can go to make a formal compaint about this woman please tell me, she shouldn't be allowed to get away with this kind of thing and from the sounds of it i'm not the first person who has been at the brunt of her rudeness. I find the lady excellent, she always makes time for me. I was diagnosed bipolar about a year and a half ago. I have to say that her advice and support over this time has been invaluable. I cannot overstate this. She does have very busy times, and quite times. However she always makes time for the customer. Sometimes this can delay other customers, but I do not mind this delay because it means everyone gets the correct support that they need We are all going there because we are not on top form, I really appreciate the personal service. It does annoy me how people park on the double yellow lines outside then rush in and demand to be served first or quicker than other people because they have illegally parked! there are parking spaces opposite and a zebra crossing, that will take you to the chemist. there is also a carpark around the corner with a very quite one way road to cross (30 yards away from the chemist at most). I have been going to Dolmans for a little over 8 years now and have found the pharmacist to be friendly and efficient so can not agree with any of the previous comments that have been made at all. The pharmacist is often working alone running things single handed which must be very difficult and although they may be some products on the shelving that appear dusty the shop faces out on to a main road which I am sure will contribute to the dust created. I give Dolmans a 4 star rating and will continue to go there for as long as I need to as I like the personal approach that the pharmacist offers. It was said in a reveiw further down that you are often left waiting for your prescription for 5mins sometimes longer but surely this is better than waiting 10mins or more in somewhere like boots who are generally extremely busy leaving you waiting much longer than you often wish to wait?. read more

None of the above reviews are exaggerations or in any way fabricated. There is an almost permanent vacancy sign on the shop door. Obviously nobody stays very long. I have personally seen her humiliate an assistant (with several customers in the shop). The proprietor is indeed rude, and sadly lacking in charm and customer service skills. She kept me waiting for approx. five minutes while she screamed at someone on the phone. I found her manner bordering on belligerent. I have no idea how she manages to stay in business, the shop is dated, impractical and very dusty. I would only use it in an emergency and look forward to the day when a new owner takes over! i am really surprised at these good reviews. i wonder how many these are genuine? its almost unanimous people agree how miserable the lady behind the counter is. she talks on and onwith no substance and no regards to other customers waiting in the queue. BE WARNED and be prepared for unimaginable rudeness.Stay clear. Its a shame after so many negative customer experiences below she is still claiming to be a local pharmacy and expects local community to support her. The only way forward is correct yourself and improve customer service.Get some help if you are over stressed , not pour it down on customers read more

I have been going to Dolman's all my life and have always found the pharmasist to be warm and friendly. She provides a very personal service and always makes you feel that she is happy to see you. She has always done her utmost to get the medication on time and on occasion has bent over backwards to make sure you do not go without. Although she does like to chat and sometimes this is a slight inconveniance I believe it shows that she takes a genuine interest into your overall well-being. read more

i would not go in to this shop as she is very nasty towards memberes of the public she gets very mad with her staff and shouts at them in front of the public and god forbid if someone asks how long for the medcation to be down also products are very dusty went in ther one time she had a member of staff scrubbing the floor and clean dust of shelves should a pharmacy be like that no stars from me very poor should be closed down read more
