This branch of the ever-second-to-Boots chemist in terms of quality and range is still a pretty…read moregood place to pick up your essential pharmaceutical needs. About ten doors down from Boots, it boldly offers slightly cheaper and slightly worse produce and all in a slightly chaotically laid out t k maxx-esque store. The staff struggle to engage with you in any sense, and they don't do the Boots range of food, but if you're looking for some headache pills and some lip balm, you'll probably find yourself a few pennies richer for your efforts.

Fazal Pharmacy is a bit of a weird place. It is half pharmacy - half post office, and there is an…read moreair of age throughout. There is a lot of stock on the shelves that is really old, dust-covered. I've never really seen a pharmacy quite like it. I have gone in there a few times with prescriptions, as its the closest pharmacy to my house. There has been a couple of times when they didn't have the medication in stock, so I've been forced to shelp up the road to another pharmacy. Having said that, they offer a high level of customer service. You get the impression that the pharmacist genuinely cares there, and will spend time talking to you about meds. They offered me a free Medicines Use Review which was nice. Oh and they asked to keep my presciptions list, so that they can get my repeats in advance for me. They even offered a delivery service, and low and behold: the other day someone literally arrived at my door with all my prescriptions!!! It was unreal. So now I'm a loyal customer ;-)

The staff are always very friendly and have helpful advice for whatever ails you. I have eczema and they have lots of products that help keep my skin moisturised and healthy. Other notable services include an in-house podiatrist and services to help you stop smoking.

The thing I like about this independent chemist is that they offer a good selection of responsible products, i.e. those that don't contain the unneccessary toxins. For instance, they supply a good range of Burts Bees, The Organic Pharmacy, Neil's Yards Remedies, etc. Move over Boots, Husbands Pharmacy is in town. Definitely my first choice of chemists in Putney.
