Boots the Chemist in South Harrow is a very small shop and offers a very limited range of make up…read moreand toiletries. The shop is mainly used by local people to collect their prescriptions and to pick up the odd items that they might need. However the Pharmacist is excellent and can recommend medicines for you. The store is very tidy and the shelves well stocked. The parking close by is expensive but if you are shopping in the nearby Sainsbury's, the parking is free in their car park for up to 2 hours. It's quite possible to pop along to Boots when you have finished your shopping as long as time permits.

I had a good experience when I visited this chemist earlier this week. I had aprescription from the…read moredoctor but I did not really understand the explanation about the drug and how to use it. The pharmacist was really good. She was very patient and she took time to explain what the drugs will do and how i should use it. She told me about the side effect to expect but made me understand that I do not have to worry about it. The other staff who attended to me before passing me on was really good as well. They are like a bunch of well-trained staff. My experience was really pleasant.

With a trip back to Manchester after watching City defeat Chelsea 2-0 to win the Community Shield, I came here to look at picking up drinks for my two-train journey, having previously been impressed with the selection on offer at other branches of Superdrug such as Manchester Piccadilly Gardens. This store is a little small, but does still feature a Three mobile kiosk, next to that is one of the smallest drink fridges I've ever seen in a Superdrug store, not only was it small in size but it was depleted and didn't even include any iced tea. The overall feel of the store also wasn't very impressive - and with many rival outlets such as Tesco (numerous branches) and Boots under a minute away on foot - this store needs to do so much store at the moment it ranks among the poorer Wembley branches compared to rivals so warrants a one-star rating.

Other than that...frankly, they've got drugs. If you don't want more than that, then fine. If you want, I don't know, daylight, fresh clean carpets and a light airy smell then this isn't your place. Making a purchase here reminds one of an illicit drug exchange rather than the legit one you're actually getting. Ew. At least the lady who runs the register is spectacularly sweet. I guess, in a way, she makes it worth the extra star also.

Boots the Chemist in Harrow is the largest Boots in the area. It has a full range of make up and…read moretoiletries and also a good selection of toys and baby items. The make up staff seem well trained and knowledgeable and are able to find items with only the briefest of descriptions. However the store seems very untidy. Often the displays are empty and sample items have been used up. The makeup stands, in particular, look grubby and uninviting and I would not consider buying a product from the stands unless it was shrunk wrapped. The store also has an opticians which often offers free check ups.

This is quite a small Boots so I would recommend going to the other Boots in St George's shopping…read morecentre Harrow for much more choice!
