I am very novice at…read morecomputers but had been referred by a friend and thought I could trust them with advice and good used computers for my new business. NOT TRUE. Once I purchased the computers I hired an IT guy to configure them with the printer in the office etc. The IT guy said do you realize you paid more than brand new monitors cost and that the computers are at the end of their lifecycle. They were years older than I was told. I was also told they were getting all the computers ready and serviced. When my IT guy opened the covers, he found they had been well used by a large organization and were very old and could not be upgraded to the newest operating system Windows 11. Furthermore, each computer was full of hair, fuzz and dirt and some of the fans didn't work. I complained and Open Box Macleod allowed me to trade the monitors for a credit. One thing I used the credit for was to buy an expensive coffee grinder. The grinder did not work so I took it back to Open Box Macleod. They said they could only send it in for repair. Months went by and still no coffee grinder. I went to the store many times in person and they shrugged me off and would not refund me and refused to help. I spent about $4000 and if I had the time, I would stand in front of their horrible, dishonest, disreputable Open Box Macleod location and tell them all my story. Worst Place to buy anything. They cannot be trusted. I am literally ashamed I fell for this discount store.... it is far worse than buying from a new supplier.

They both have many years of experience fixing phones and computers. One thing I like is that they have 3 months warranty if you buy from them. Yes, they sell re-furbished phones, and some merchandise that is not the top of the line. But it is a growing business, run by honest and friendly guys. They deserve a chance to prove themselves. I will continue coming to get their help. China town is also very cool to visit here in Calgary.

Have an iPad gen 4 that had ghost typing…read moreproblems, which had been sent to various repair places over the past couple of years, each time problem came back within 3-6 months of repair. Contact imobile, they came out to the house, diagnosed the problem as an incorrect installation of the screen, and repaired overnight for $90. Was very impressed with Wan professional approach, not to mention the 6mo warranty on repairs(which is about triple what the competition is offering!!!!) She had to juggle two customers to handle to lineup. It's just a really busy location. But the staff person was very knowledgeable and professional despite the challenges and got my Apple Watch set up in a reasonable amount of time once she got to me and recommended a free workshop to help me get up to speed on using it more effectively , showing me how to find and register for the workshop. So other than the long wait it was a positive experience and I really apprec that the in personsupport service is available.

They advise me if I really need to upgrade my phone or need to change my plan. They keep me current and since I have always been an Apple customer they know to focus on only those products for me. The staff are very well trained and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about them. They have literally saved me hundreds if not a few thousand in savings and unnecessary purchases. Their plans have always suited my needs to the point I don't even need an internet plan at home. Right there is about a thousand dollars a year. You can't go wrong dealing with them.

Or you can buy from them directly. WIND's prices & included services are unbeatable. Even better, I used unlimited add-on roaming services in US, which costs me about 1/10 of what Rogers would charge. Had no problem with rumored coverage issue so far. Should have switched much earlier. Simply awesome! Update after a year: With more usage, I find out a few coverage issue spots, such as in NW Costco. Phone struggles in getting signal from Wind and/or Telus, the result is it can't call or text there. Can live with that. Just wait till out in the parking lot. But another tricky part made me lower my rating from 5 to 4: Wind charges more when using its own data if you don't have data plan, than using other carriers data when roaming. That doesn't make sense.
