Do NOT use Lumber Jack Tree Specialists run by Mike and Courtney Silvers out of Springfield Ohio…read more Those are the people whose names are on the business card. Their company left a 4' stump not returning to cut it down and grind up the stump.after being paid in full since I had the check filled out for the full amount. Contract read that it included stumping and that I had paid the $150 for the stumping. They refuse to answer other than that they claim they weren't paid - in spite of the check being cashed - and that I would have to pay extra. I am not the only one. News 6 in Columbus went after Lumber Jack when a viewer had the same problem, except he had not paid the $150. They would not go back and do the contracted stumping process. They did a good job on the tree they cut down until they left the 4' stump and did not complete the job. They also left a lot of dead limbs in some of the trees trimmed because they were doing the cutting after dark. Not a good job in all. Get a local reputable company, don't use Lumber Jack Tree Specialist. You will regret it, as I do. Incomplete work and false promises, then cover up the rip off. I'd go no stars if I could.

Recent weather put a large limb of an overly tall locust tree in our yard on the roof of the…read moregarage. Other limbs were dangerous for the next door business. So we called C&S again. Corey, Caleb and Greg showed up and turned to on removing the locust and another maple next to it. Took 'em about six hours all told. They got the trees down to trunk stumps very quickly without much effect on the business next door. Very respectful and courteous crew, as they always have been when C&S has done work for us (many trees over the years.) Cleaned up all the detritus, swept up the driveway and the business parking lot, left us some burning timber for the fireplace and a huge pile of ground up stump at our request. We have always been satisfied and amazed at the ability of the C&S crews to get thru the day with minimal interference in our lives and no damage to themselves or any adjacent property. Someone's said it's like choreography. We agree. A five star outfit with five star crews.

At one point my husband and I were outside giving them hot chocolate and we offered to give them their money right then. He said no, that he would get it when they're done. They completely removed two dead trees & ground up the stumps as well. We have two more trees that need to be removed, but since it's close to Christmas those will have to wait. I made sure that my husband got their contact information so that we could use them in the future. To say that I highly recommend this company is a complete understatement! As far as I'm concerned- we won't be looking any where else when it comes to this type of service!!!

One of these trees extended over our house and 2 ran near power/electrical lines and our neighbors fence. They used their talent and skills to safely and successfully remove all trees and stumps without any accidents or damage. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves as well, removing all but the finest remnants of leftovers from the job. They were in and out in just 3 hours!
