Broke Contract!!!
The good, bad and the ugly!
Owner agreed to 3 projects and only completed 2. We were supplying the tile, the vanities, and the doors for the bath and shower. We were led to believe that it could all be done one after another in a couple of weeks time. First project, full bathroom reno went amazingly and turned out beautiful, second project, front porch refresh was sub-contracted out and while it looks okay from the street, once you get up close, the inconsistent work is obvious. T and R never came to even check it out when it was done. The third project, a small bathroom demo and shower stall reno was never even started, even though we purchased an expensive vanity, mirror and all the tiles. Weeks turned into months of waiting and us doing all of the reaching out to them to set a date. A date was never set and when we pushed to get a firm date was told it was probably best to part ways. One other email came after that saying that the contract would need to be updated for work that wasn't in the contract. Reviewing the old contracts, they were never really correct because different things that were discussed were left out of each revision. Not sure how that office is organized, but I would say it isn't. We are very disappointed to be in this bind right before the holidays when we started this process in August and have had supplies all over the house for months. read more
