What stood out was that no one checked on our table or asked whether we wanted dessert or coffee. My main disappointment, however, was the $36 "sushi and sashimi" plate. While it included several pieces of sashimi, two specialty tapas, and a soup or salad--overall a fair value--the four pieces of California roll included were subpar. They were loosely packed, difficult to pick up, and felt more like something from a fast-food sushi kiosk than a restaurant of this caliber. This isn't the first time I've ordered this dish and encountered the same issue. It's unfortunate to see an otherwise beautiful plate diminished by such a weak component. That said, it remains a great place to visit overall, especially as a BYOW spot.
