Tuna poke bowl, Salmon poke bowl.
Kian R.

As a frequent flier myself, I frequent airports and long layovers, and finding good food can be tricky, luckily, we have Ryú at the Montreál Trudeau International Airport! Here you can find a great deal of fresh made sushi rolls, poke, and drinks. I visited this place twice, and got the sushi and the poke. The sushi I got was actually pretty good, and was very fresh. My only dissatisfaction was with the price though. When I returned, I tried the poke, and that was so much better. Not only was it way cheaper, but it had so much fish, rice, and extras. So much better of a deal and better quality overall. They were not stingy here. There are two locations currently, one in the main gatehouse, (near gates 50), and one in the US terminal (near gates 30). The one in the main gatehouse has more seating inside, and is more of a restaurant feel, while the one in the US terminal is definitely more of a grab and go (but there is seating and tables nearby). I will say that the US terminal one was way easier to navigate and see the menu items. The staff were also friendlier and easy to work with. I recommend this place very much. I loved the food here. Very quick, tasty, and relatively good priced, especially for airport food. I will return if I ever fly through here again!

Tuna roll that is mostly rice. Watch out.

I ordered a few fried items and a few fresh roll options, both were really delicious. My order came with these side sauces, but I just used the soy sauce because the other sauces were too sweet for my taste.

I didn't stay long as I was just in the mood to take out. I looked at the menu online and to my luck they had a Combo "N" already in the fridge ready to go that was just made. I also had to wait a short while because I ordered a karaage appetizer as well. I love fried chicken. If I have an opportunity to get fried chicken at a place that's serving sushi whether it's in the form or karaage or katsu I'm taking it every time. Luckily they have an option to just get the appetizer which is just the chicken itself, not an entire combo meal so I went with it. I have to say it was so cute! It was in what looked like a Haagen Dazs half liter but when you take the lid off it looks like a mini bucket of fried chicken! The menu has a lot of choices and some while they may seem trendy some also seem kind of cool and different. They had sushi tacos in that the shells are wonton type and they serve them with salmon, tuna or lobster. While sushi burritos are not exactly new, they have that as well and if you so wanted, you could get ones made with karaage. Between other items I haven't even really seen before they have a lot of stylish and colorful selections to choose from. What I ordered was exactly what I had wanted which was a mix of maki a couple pieces of nigiri and that nicely fried and tasty karaage. The pieces seemed larger than other places that I've seen serve karaage which were more bite sized pieces. The karaage came with a nice spicy mayo which was perfect. These deep fried delicious pieces of chicken are not dry but just right. The Sushi shop for me was a nice quick take out order but it could also be a nice relaxing place to sit down and have made to order as well.
