After being in our home for 25 years, we had discovered a leak in an upstairs guest shower. Since we would have to take out most of the tile, we thought we would redo the entire shower. While walking through the Bel-Air shopping plaza, we came across a showroom for CNY. They do kitchen and bathroom renovations so we walked in. We met Ray and Anneliese and immediately felt very comfortable to work with this company. My wife and I sat down with the team and chose all of the items to be added to the shower after Ray came out to take measurements. The final price came in at $15,000 and a quarter of that was put down to start the project. Once all the specialty items were ordered and in the project started. Victor started with demolition and finished at the installation of the tile. He was amazing and very nice and respectful. Did a great job not making a mess as demo tends to do. Next came Cory who finished the job and was also very polite and did a fabulous job. Our guests now have a new shower to enjoy with the latest upgrades and a spa look.

Added a vent hood and put the microwave in a lower cabinet. Now my entire house does NOT smell like food odor every time I cook. We renovated the kitchen pantry and 3 large closets by taking out wire shelving. Then, designed closets with wood shelving and specially built open wood cabinets. Found a 'hot wire' in the attic. Rewired the house in the attic. The kitchen was designed for a side-by-side regrigerator. The wrong size was installed and we replaced it. Kitchen cabinet flooring not finished under the cabinets. Replaced the flooring. Even the hardware on the doors was missing. Installed the hardward. Vents were cut above the doors - then you could hear people speak from back of house to the front. Replaced vents with solid walls. Carlos Lira's team of workers are knowledgeable and hard workers. They accomplished many tasks with each visit. I always saw great improvement once they finished for the day and they did a through job each time. I had a great experience with everyone! I highly recommend Carlos and his team of workmen! First, demo did not occur when it was supposed to due to miscommunication on their part with their subcontractor. From there the delays continued. The final product is subpar; the demo crew did not fully even out the subfloor so there are lumps in areas when you step on the flooring. There appears to have been no quality control. And our place was left an absolute mess. We have had work done in previous homes and none looked this bad. Dust coated everything as if coverings were not used. They were to move furniture then move it back. That did not happen either. We arrived to a master bedroom full of furniture that we had to move ourselves. This also delayed carpet installation because the carpet company could not get into that bedroom. Price quoted was wrong. Demo materials were left everywhere. They told us the day before move-in that we were responsible for having our toilets reinstalled (nothing like moving to a new place with no toilets. (Had to find and pay extra for a plumber). After they began work they told us quarter round would be needed at an additional cost (something that should have been noted during walk-thru for an estimate). No job inspection was performed by the company after their employees finished. They eventually came back with a foreman so we could walk them through all of the problems. These included glue on the floor, missed quarter round installation, broken closet door, finishing work behind the refrigerator (refrigerator and dishwasher were also pulled out and not put back or hooked back up), areas missing flooring and more). Nobody confirmed afterwards that we were/were not satisfied with the repair work. For an over $15k job we expected exceptional and got subpar.

If I bought the slabs then what ever is left over they'd cut and install on other areas I needed it for like fireplace or bathroom countertop. After that I also looked on Facebook Marketplace to see what other shops are around. I saw his shop in an add with a picture of a piece I also liked. I started communicating with him. He didn't remember who I was and had no info on the hour I spent talking with him on countertops. It was a little annoying. The template and install was included and he was going to throw in a sink for free. So I was waiting for workers to move my house along so I could go do the real-time ordering and get this project done. SECOND VIST: I drove back to the shop and spoke with the son, who is very polite and sweet. During my visit with him prices were hire and it was going to be an extra $400 for template and cut/install and no free sink. The price per sqft went from $65 to $78. At this point I just got the info I had and when I got home knew that this was not going to move forward. I then I checked around places in Orlando that service Ormond Beach for way less money and have great quality materials. PROS: - very kind staff. The son and Tiago are very nice to work with - warehouse with choices to choose from - some pretty pieces - some remnants for you to choose from CONS: - Prices are a bit too high in comparison to other places - not enough quartz options - staff didn't remember customer - communication through their Facebook ad was challenging - their parking at the shop was confusing - template, cut, install pricing is high. - price for sink is high. Would I recommend this place? No, I'd recommend the actual business I'm using for the countertops
