I am writing this review to advise you not to deal with David Waller Interiors. I went into their shop last week & found a bar cart that I liked. I was told that the cart was only sold along with the 2 chairs next to it & I was quoted a price for the set. I took measurements & went home to see if it would work. When I called in the next day to purchase the set I was told a completely different (higher) price. I informed the associate on the phone that I had been quoted the day before a lower price by not one but two other associates. She said that she would have the manager call me which never happened......so after 5 days I called them & I was told that they would not honor the price that I had been quoted. I have now read other reviews and see that this seems to be a pattern with this store......my advise "stay away". read more

It appears that we should have done our homework a little more thoroughly and we would not have been ambushed by the added costs at the end. In reading other reviews, we now know that this is a pattern with this company. The product, the installation, and the customer service up until the end was outstanding. Beware of added costs that may have been "overlooked" in the initial quote process. Adding almost $400 two months after the initial quote is unacceptable. I am in the process of remodeling a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. I had a designer come into my home and we talked for over an hour about the remodeling. After waiting for almost 2 weeks for the design I was told she would not be emailing the plans and I would have to come into the showroom to see them. The whole process seemed like a strong arm sales tactic. I am very busy and don't have the time to go to the showroom just to see the designs. I emailed the designer stating this and she never responded. Every other company we dealt with happily emailed me the plans. If you have a busy life like myself, I don't recommend this company. The finished product is amazing, however, getting there was a nightmare. We signed a contract Jan of 2019 and made final payment around the first of May 2020. If you decide to deal with these folk I recommend a boatload of patience and perhaps 25% more cash than your contract. Check every invoice, and get EVERYTHING in writing as promises made by our project manager were rejected by the management. Also be prepared to hear endless excuses for no shows and unreturned phone calls. We are understanding people, trucks break down, family get sick, but every week it was something. It became obvious they had so many project going, we were not the priority. Also beware of "allowances" for subcontractors. While "allowances" for plumbing and electrician were around $3,200.00 we actually paid almost $10,000.00. Just surprising after 40 years of experience. read more

We recently had the  pleasure of doing business with David Wallar Interiors. We went to the shop to look at flooring of which they had a huge selection in all price ranges. David was very hospitable & came over to our condo a few days later to measure. For 2 bedrooms carpeted,  &planks throughout the rest of the condo, the price was better than both Home Depot & Lowes. The completed work looks fantastic & started& finished by when he said they would. The showroom offers a vast array of beautiful furnishings & a  full range  products to enhance every aspect of your home. We look forward to using them replace our counters in the near future! read more

Our experience with David Waller Interior has consistently been above outstanding, in every possible way! At the start, when you arrive in their enticing showroom, you are greeted by friendly, happy, smiling and professional staff! We had the great pleasure to work with Jenna and Brooke. They immediately greeted us upon entering the store, and asked what our design needs were. After a short question/answer session, they immediately pulled perfect wallpaper books that had all the specifications we requested! They made, what i expected to be a long, painful process, into an easy task. After that, they came out to measure and assist us on some other crucial design issues! The completed project, turned out way beyond our expectations! GORGEOUS!!! Jaime, the wallpaper installer, did all the wallpaper work, from prep to completion. And we were quite impressed! If you use this company, we recommend you check every invoice as well as the detail on the work. We have been given two different balances after supplying a large amount in three allotments totaling 25K+. The calculations/invoices provided, which we had to point out, were off by hundreds of dollars and they really have no customer service or detail oversight. Bottom line - check everything! read more

My experience with this place was very unpleasant. The tile I brought was not cheap by any means I gave the 50% down and the sales person stated the installation would be done in two to three weeks. They had to order the tile cause they do not stock it I took her at her word. Big mistake. By the end of the second week I called to see if the tile had come in. The salesperson stated that they were just on their way to see if it was there. What great timing on my part. The salesperson said that they would have to-call me back. OK. Salesperson called back stating that there was a problem with the ordering and no tile. Where could it possible be coming from If it came in the third week, I would have to go on a waiting list for the job to be done. We Had wires hanging out all over my kitchen. They offered to give me my deposit back, but would mean I would have to start all over again. Putting my kitchen in mess for a much longer time. We agreed to continue. My husband removed the current back splash. The salesperson called saying maybe Monday or Tuesday but definitely Wednesday. Wednesday was here and the tile person arrives to install the new back splash, but was one tiny little problem it was not the tile we ordered.!!!!! This tile was nice and would go with our new granite. The installer stated that he was not sure that we had enough to the job. At time point I told him to install it that I could not deal with this any more. Time to pay the bill and we were charged for the work my husband did in removing the old tile. The installer was very nice. But be very careful how you deal with this company. I would never recommend them to any one. read more

My partner and I are in the midst of a complete home renovation. Part of the remodeling includes 5 bathrooms. We dropped by this afternoon to look into their bathroom tile and vanity options and were majorly disappointed in the absolute lack of customer service. A woman greeted us briefly and I asked two questions which received perfunctory replies. She didn't ask any questions about our project, budget, style/taste, nothing. Instead she busied herself with another guy moving things around. In short, she did the utmost to act as disinterested as possible. I've never experienced anything quite like this, and can only determine that homophobia was the reason for the lack of service and professional courtesy. I'd avoid this place at all costs and take your business to ProSource over on Mason Ave. we've had nothing but excellent service there and never made to feel uncomfortable like we were at David Waller. I'm a native of Daytona, so it disappoints me to see "family run" businesses operate like this. Will convey to my contractor as well to ensure other clients don't deal with this store. read more
