I was told, however, that no numbers could be provided unless I agreed to a "soft inquiry" to pre-qualify. I made it abundantly clear that I did not want anything that could affect my credit score or appear on my credit reports. I was reassured, explicitly, that this would not be a hard inquiry, that it would not lower my score, and that it would not show up on my report. Imagine my outrage, then, when within an hour I received an email from Credit Karma alerting me to multiple hard inquiries on my credit report. These marks can remain visible for up to two years, impacting future financing opportunities, all because I was misled. This is not only unprofessional, it is deceptive. I entered this conversation in good faith, but I was given false information that now has long-term consequences for my credit history. I expect accountability and a resolution to this matter. Amended: Countrywide Chevrolet has my phone number because they called me repeatedly. Yet here they invite me to call them. I have had text interactions with the salesman but no accountability or resolution.

We were surprised with how quick they could get us in and were understanding of the situation. We arrived on the 13TH as scheduled and they were very prompt and so helpful! We walked the lot as we waited, viewed some Ford Broncos and spoke with some of the staff. The staff was so down to earth, helpful and even gave suggestions on local eateries and places to do things. We appreciate the excellent service that got us back on the road worry free for the rest of our vacation and our trip home! I have read a FEW comments about less than satisfied service at this dealership. I was hesitant…read moreabout patronizing the business. However, I am very cautious and over analytical. After much leg work tracking down firsthand experiences, I came to the conclusion that much of the dissatisfaction was due to unrealistic expectations. I searched the Internet and was overwhelmed with postings indicating almost all dealerships denied any knowledge about the situation. I chose to take my Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Overland/Summit in for repair. Deriata, the service contact was honest, upfront, and confirmed the issue was a common well known issue with several models. She wrote the service order, followed up with me about diagnostics, cost, and expected timelines. I found the service department was very busy but very organized staying focused and expedient, and meet deadlines. Additionally, they recommend two new tires which I already knew to be true. I responded I regularly dealt with a local tire dealer and wanted to stick with them. The dealership responded "I understand and agree that you should". Not another word about the subject. The repair was not cheap but was involved and justified. They found an open recall, repaired it, and did not mention anything about bringing it back for another appointment, or any cost or inconvenience to me. They just did it while they had it. Dealing with the salesmen in the sales department is another story.

Felt like I was being held hostage. And seriously, I don't care how low you get my payment, who the hell with any intelligence finances a car for 7 years ? I will still be buying a Fiat 500x when my lease is up but will drive to Fiat dealership in Greer SC or Knoxville TN. Also I have never had a car salesman not show me everything about the car. I was only told about stuff if I asked about it.
