I chose this place because of its good reviews, but my session did not live up to expectations given the cost of the treatment. This feedback is in hopes of the business to improve and for clients to also get other perspectivces. I chose the Thai massage service because of my specific pains and experience with this type of massage that focuses on my specific needs and muscle aches. I felt that those were not addressed and in hindsight, I should have been even more verbal with the masseur, Kristopher. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and assumed what he was doing was assessing my body prior to the actual therapy. First off, Kristopher was professional and kind. However, I felt his skills are too nascent and he doesn't understand the full client's needs. Below are some instances that immediately ticked me off: 1. When leaving he said he would knock prior to entering. Although I was ready, I did not hear him knock before he entered. 2. I specified on my intake form about the pain points in my neck and shoulders. He spent way too much time on my toes and only what felt like the last 10 minutes on my chief complaint. 3. He needs to be aware of his client's body. One instance, he laid my hands down with the fingers still awkwardly bent, but did not adjust me before moving onto another body section. Meaning, as a client, I lay as relaxed and motionless as possible. I expect the masseur to position me in a position of therapy. Another instance was that he sat on the palm of my hand while working on another body section; he should be aware of the client's body to not unnecessarily move or touch the body. 4. I arrived before 2pm but had to use the restroom. I then filled out paper work, connected with Kristopher. This must meant that my actual therapy did not begin until 1210p. I paid for a full 2 hours, but the massage ended at 2pm. I understand the need for business efficiency, but from a client's perspective, I felt ripped-off. 5. He did not intuitively find my areas of pain; glancing over large knot and spending too much time on unnecessary areas. He performed a percussion style where her pounded my thigh with his fists, but I'll be honest - it was not therapeutic at all. It was quite painful, but since I like pain, I decided to let him do it to both sides, before I realized it was not therapeutic. 6. Kristopher made recommendations post therapy. While this was kind, his recommendations are what I have already been doing. Maybe it's the bad experience overall, but I interpreted this as him failing to ask the right questions or failing to listen. I appreciated the cleanliness of the facility and ease of booking. Thank you for allowing me to share my feedback.

Something called to me today and boy am I glad I stopped. I ended up having a 30 min acupressure session with Ke. It was extremely relaxing and just what I needed to destress after a busy work week. Ke managed to hit all my trouble spots in my neck and shoulders. Not to be crass but I always a good butt massage because people often forget that your butt connects your back and legs so much stress stems from there. Ke didn't miss a beat but was extremely professional. I noticed there are cameras in the treatment area too so no one can claim otherwise. For $30 this was worth every penny. I will definitely stop in again and schedule with Ke, he was awesome. The Reflexology detox treatment seemed interesting as well, maybe that next time.

Nate is hands down one of the best, most thorough, and "connected to the body" therapists I have ever had the pleasure of working with. That he lives and works close to where I am is a blessing I am grateful for constantly. In full disclosure, I have known Nate for years, as a neighbor, friend, and peer, long before he sought and obtained his certification. I could easily write a review hoping to help him based on what a wonderful person he is, but this is not that. He gives "hands" down one of the most relieving, specific, and tailored deep tissue experiences I have ever had, and it is a superlative blessing to have him not only as a friend, but as a therapist who is not after a fee, but hoping to provide a valuable and incredible experience to his clients. Nate is not just good, he is reliably gives the best deep tissue experience I have ever had - and has been doing this reliably for a long time. Highly recommended.

$80... need I say more?…read more The fact that I didn't walk out when they said that was a mistake on my end. Anyway, one hour massage, let the time start ticking. The masseuse was a nice lady. She ran through a normal massage, nothing to write home about. As someone who gets massages on a regular basis, I know a great massage from an average. This was very average. At the end of the massage, the lady stayed in the room while I got dressed. It was very uncomfortable. Social cues? None there... She even directly asked me if I was going to tip (while I was still putting my clothes on). That was weird and poor customer service. She watched me pull out my wallet, and as I went through my bills, she had the nerve to complain that I only tipped her $10. She said "only $10, what about that $20?". Excuse me? Who are you talking to...? I should have never tipped her. The fact that she did not give me any privacy, and then had the audacity to ask for MORE money after delivering a sub-par massage... ridiculous. Did I forget to mention that it was even a full hour, too? I laid down at 5:30 and she stopped at 6:20... if I am paying $80 for an hour, I would like an hour. This is not rocket science, in fact, it's actually a relatively logical system to follow. I would not recommend going here. Unprofessional and not a great massage.
