Because the purchasing store wasn't friendly, I didn't feel comfortable reaching out to them, so I decided to inquire with Top Stitch. Not only were they extremely helpful and friendly, made a suggestion, which luckily seems to have cured the problem. Since then, I have purchased several accessories from them, as well as a B485 last week. Customer service is great! I am so thankful I found them. I will gladly drive 2 hours to do business with them.

I'm embarrassed to say I called top stitch 2 days in a row. Each time, my problem was solved by one of the helpful staff. But the THIRD day, Tim himself, diagnosed what I had tried to do for 3 days! Over the phone, he analyzed I'd locked myself out of options. I'm happy to say the quilt is now done in time for tomorrow's shower. Most companies would tell me to bring my machine in for a free, of course! I live 3 hours away from the store, making that scenario impossible. I can NOT thank them enough for their courtesy, time and expertise. If you need repair or a new or used machine, I can't recommend Top Stitch highly enough!

In September 2025 I purchased one of their mediation rings ($200+}. The ring broke 4 months after the purchase. When I went into the store (Feb. 08, 2026) to request a repair or replacement, I was surprised by the lack of customer service, as I was told they would "get me a quote" for the repair. When I raised concerns that I just purchased the ring 4 months ago and was not expecting to pay for a repair, they replied that we will have to look at it (they were looking at it, and the jeweler was right there). I again expressed concern that I would be expected to pay a repair on a ring that was purchased 4 months ago. I asked if there was another ring in stock (they did not offer another ring in stock) and when I asked for them to check, they said that there is not another ring in that size in stock. They also did not offer for me to choose a different ring for replacement. When continuing to ask questions, I was told it would be MONTHS before they know IF I would have to pay for the repairs because the company that Gordon's purchased the ring from is in Canada. This was not my first purchase at the Boonville Gordon's (so I am a repeat customer). But this will be my last. Beware of purchasing at Gordon's in Boonville, MO. If you choose to shop there, my personal experience reflects an extreme and disappointing lack of post-purchase support and customer service.

So I prepared to drive to Columbia (I live in Boonville), as I'm accustomed to doing with my larger purchases. Before making the drive, I googled watch stores in Boonville and found Gordon Jewelers. "Audrey" answered the phone and provided insight into their watch selection; genuine customer service over the phone. (This type of great service is becoming too rare in todays retail) I arrived an hour later and had outstanding service from Mark, Audrey and two other ladies (didn't get their names). Yes, I would expect Customer Service to show/explain the product; however I'm extremely excited that I found the watch I need, at a price I like AND got it engraved, AND gift wrapped!!! All within about an Hour! As I was waiting on the engraving, I was shown some (engraved) cross-necklaces that will be awesome Christmas gifts for my daughters. What an absolutely, lovely store, truly in the middle of nowhere. Stover, Missouri to be exact. The…read moretown is so small, if you blink, you might miss this gorgeous oasis on the main drag. The very nice lady inside the store came out when she saw me walking around the patio outside. She told me the owners have another store in Cabo San Lucas, on the Mexican gold coast. The store is beautiful inside and out. The flowers and plants blooming outside were gorgeous. The store inside is spotless, impeccably designed and the art pieces were amazing. the seem to be mostly clay creations, all with a Latino feel. There were also metal art pieces as well as candles and furniture. The prices might seem a bit much for the Missouri area, but if they were in SoCal, the prices might be considered downright cheap! I didn't bring my phone in with me but I will definitely be back and hope to purchase more pieces in the future. Don't hesitate to stop if you're passing through Stover.

Simply know by locals in Sedalia as "The Barn" Heritage Ranch is indeed a barn, a barn constructed to look older than it is with a mix of recycled and new materials. In addition there are two. . .huts? One for the groom's wedding party and one for the brides. . .be warned. . .these are the only two areas with air conditioning and if you are going to have a wedding in anything other than winter that barn gets toasty. . .not toasty enough for me to dock a star but tosty enough for me to say that the family that ownes it might need to look into better cooling options than the random massive fans that were everywhere. . .pordable AC units are a thing. . . LADIES! The parking for the venu is a rock field, as in the roadway is made of loose rocks, bring flats or boots and switch to heels when you get to the barn. No really Don't try to do the lot in heels. Behind the barn sits a small play area for children that we found quite functional. Remember to READ what you are signing up for though because there is a lot of clean ups you will be responsible for, you turn everything back over the way you got it.
