A+ Window Tinting

After having to purchase a new vehicle last weekend, I quickly realized that I needed to have…read moredarker tint applied to all of the windows plus the moonroof. I called the last place that I used on my Cayenne (who did a great job and were professional), but their prices were much higher than in the spring of this year for ceramic tint. I decided to shop around. That's when I saw all of the great reviews for A+ which honestly made me a little bit skeptical, but I decided to reach out anyway. I messaged with someone for a day or two, and then I decided just to make the appointment. A+'s pricing was about $200 less than the last place that I took my last car to. They were able to get me in the very next day! That was surprising and a welcomed relief to my light sensitive eyes. When I arrived, I was greeted and we discussed my tinting preferences. After the game plan was made, I felt confident that I was going to get exactly what I wanted as far as the darkness in the vehicle. I came prepared to wait for hours on end, and in just over an hour, my vehicle was completed! I believe there were three gentlemen working on my windows, so that was great teamwork. I'm already planning on bringing my husband's truck back for tinting as a Hanukkah gift, but I will also be recommending this place to anyone and everyone because they really do warrant all of the great reviews! Great business, great people, great products, and great workmanship.

They did a fine job on my car (I have a basic Ford Escape, nothing fancy). I was told there was a Lifetime Guarantee! I noticed lately, the tinting on the right front passenger door is scrunching up. I couldn't find my receipt but I figured they would have me in their system, and so I drove down there and talked to someone in person, who gave me the impression he was in charge. He told me that they don't keep any information in the system and there was nothing he could do for me. He said I would need to find my receipt from 4 years back?! What?! Seriously? Who doesn't keep records in their business system? Are they using triplicates? He said for me come back and they could fix it and maybe "see what they can do after it's fixed." Huh?! I'm not gonna have the work done and get charged full price. Just bummed that this is how they do business.

5-Star Yelp Review…read more We had an excellent experience with Proper Auto Glass in Roseville. Nick's customer service was outstanding from start to finish--friendly, professional, and very clear in his communication. The workmanship was top-notch, the products used were high quality, and everything was explained so we knew exactly what to expect. Best of all, they got us in and out quickly without sacrificing quality. We will absolutely use Proper Auto Glass again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needing auto glass work.

Unfortunate experience. Got a great quote and scheduled an appointment for glass windshield…read morereplacement and got stood up twice. The first time they no-showed, I called when I was waiting outside their location and they said the technician had an emergency. Then they texted back and said it was because I didn't confirm the appt (which a courtesy message notifying me the appt was cancelled would've been appreciated if that was the case), but later texted saying to disregard that and they would do mobile services for the inconvenience. Scheduled them for mobile services for the next day and waited at home for several hours, but then technician had a medical emergency, so they asked me to come back to their main location the next morning. Next morning, no one was available to work on it. In sum, obviously unforeseen medical emergencies are unfortunate, but at that point, just stop scheduling appointments until everyone gets their health stuff figured out? It's an insanely rude waste of time.

When I spoke with their front desk I told the individual I wanted to have the windshield ordered from the Genesis. She told me that would take much longer and that most replacements are done with after-market glass; with no issues. I was very skeptical and we went back and forth. My concern was that the after-market windshield would not be the same and I would be stuck with an inferior product. She assured me that if I was not satisfied Highlands Glass would replace with a windshield from the factory. After the replacement I heard more road noise but chalked it up to the roads or my tires. Then the rains came to California. On 12/31, the rain started seeping into my car from the windshield. I left a message with Highlands and received a call on 1/3/23. They sent the previous installer to my house to determine the cause. I told him about the glass sticking out. He told me that's how it's supposed to be. Told him the glass wasn't cut straight and seemed rather thick at the top. He put some type of liquid sealant on the rubber (as if that's a permanent solution), told me he would pass my comments to the owner and left. This was the first time I had seen the top of the windshield as the tape had to stay on the windshield for a bit after installation and I was super busy with work and holidays. I called the office the next day, talked to the owner Tom and he said he would send his manager out. The manager came out Jan 10, looked at the glass, told me that was how it was supposed to look, reminded me the installer "fixed" the leak, then proceeded to talk AT me about aerodynamics. He asked what I wanted to happen. I told him I wanted the windshield ordered from the manufacturer. The installer said he would let the owner Tom know. Today is Jan 13th. I haven't heard from Tom. He will not return my calls. The ins company called Tom and he told hem the glass is installed correctly and he's not replacing it. I know what my windshield looked like before it was replaced. The glass did not stick out 1/4". As a matter of fact, I couldn't even see the top of the glass. It fit into the frame of the car. NEVER EVER USE HIGHLANDS GLASS. If your insurance recommends them avoid them. Lesson learned...
