I never write Yelp reviews. If I'm happy with the goods or services, I tell the owner or staff, if not I let them know also. My experience at Synerlogic was special and I want to spread the word about this fine phone computer service and repair business. One morning my HP laptop screen was black. I could not get the darn thing to power up. A visit to Steve and a quick inspection of my device indicated a new mother board was needed. He carefully explained the process he needed to put in process to get another mother board. My HP was old and spare parts were difficult to locate but he said he would have one in about 3 or 4 days. On the 5th day he called with bad news, the spare mother board would not power up either. Over the phone he apologized and offered to fix me up with a loner while he tried to find another board. The loner was exceptional with all my drives loaded and ready to go. A week later we switched out the computer and I discovered that Steve in an effort to make up for the inconvenience added 2GB of ram to my LT. Exceptional service. I initially called for information on upgrading my Mac Pro. Mr Murzin spent a very generous amount of time finding out my needs. He educated me on what well publicized issues there were with the new design macs and what he gets into his shop for repair. He advised me not to purchase a new Mac and said the upgrades that I was looking at was an overkill and expensive far above what I needed. He presented the options he felt best for me and what he could offer me. He is in San Diego and I am in Connecticut. I overnighted my hard drive and upon receiving it he immediately transferred my software and overnighted back to me as I had an urgent need. He kept in constant communication with me the whole time. His going out of his way allowed me to accept a tremendous work assignment the next day. Don't think you could top his customer service. He sold me exactly what I needed and saved me almost $3000 in the process!!!! read more

After looking at many different places to fix my MacBook Pros cracked LCD screen, I decided to give Synerlogic a try. I called Steve to get a quote and to find out if he had the part that I needed for my computer. To my surprise he did, most places I called told me that it had to be ordered or that I had to buy it myself. Later that day I stopped by the store, gave Steve my laptop and in less than 20 minutes he had my laptop repaired. Steve offers incredible service and even better prices. Don't look anywhere else these guy is the best. I've tried using other company's to fix our computers at my office and always have to call them back to re fix the issue and got re billed wonderful, educated and patient person to work with. He was able to fix all of my office problems and answered all questions directly and with detail. I will look no further when I need technological help. I suggest you do the same!
