I also used Alice based on the reviews and I'm so grateful I did. I bet I've had 100+ massages, from airport chair massage, to shopping center foot massage, to Pebble Beach SPA, Bellagio, etc... Alice is a muscle whisperer. She was incredible, and not for $200+ an hour, but more like $70. If you're used to going to high-end bougie places, this is going to feel like theft as it's so affordable. It doesn't have all the amenities, but they do use a full size cover up, the bed is comfortable and the room feels about the same. However, if you've already mastered the art of the affordable Asian foot spa, then just know, she's been there over a decade, and she speak clear English. You can have an actual conversation and explain your pains. It's the best of both world's. NOTE: the area looks rough and the outside of the building seems sketchy. If it weren't for the reviews I never would have tried it, but I'm glad I did. Alice is incredible! She's a muscle and soreness whisperer who just inherently finds the pain and fixes it. I wasn't bruised after, was able to have her focus on specific areas, yet felt 100 times better. Could not recommend Alice and AA Foot Spa enough!

The massage was just ok, it felt more like someone rubbing lotion on me vs a massage. I do know that quality can vary at these places, so it could have just been the person I was working with. I have also had an amazing experience there. I have seen a few different massage therapists and all have been excellent. I am currently going to Melissa - she does a wonderful job and checks in throughout the session about pressure, comfort, and reminds to relax and breathe. If massage is a regular practice for you, the membership option is really good! I have been going to The Lotus Room for several years now and will continue to return for many more.

PROS: Marilyn and Sharondia were communicative, they were able to give me an appointment the same week which I appreciate. The massage office is easy to find with plenty of parking space, it was clean, the massage beds were comfortable. The massage music that they were playing was very relaxing. We had a couple's one hour massage. I had Marilyn and she did a great job. However my wife said Sharondia did an amazing job and even offered her hot stones and eye masks. She really felt like an VIP with Sharondia. CONS: The office is located in the Elm Park Plaza, in an older building housing many different businesses like travel agents, lawyer's office, staffing office etc. The door was locked on the weekends, so when you arrive you will have to text them to let you in. If they are with a client you will have to wait a little bit. Even though the office was clean it looked a little run down, however when you are getting the massage your eyes will be closed anyway so it was not a big issue. My only thing is that when we got the couple's massage, my wife got eye masks and hot stones and I did not get any, which was disappointing, I wish their service is consistent across the board.
