The MRI report also showed that the C4 and C7 regions were showing early signs of potential herniated discs in the future. I had never had anything like this happen to me and when I first felt symptoms of my herniated disc, I was miserable! I had a very stiff neck, unbearable pain radiating down my left arm, and numbness/tingling reaching my index finger and thumb. Initially, the spine specialist had recommended I go see a chiropractor or physical therapist and I decided to go to Compass Family Chiropractic since Dr. Ann Marie was highly recommended by my personal trainer. I went to her office and let me just start off by saying everyone here is very personable. I love how Mimi took the time to show me around and Dr. Ann Marie thoroughly explains to you how the spine works and what she can accomplish with her techniques. In two weeks I was able to get 8 adjustments and when I went back to the spine specialist he was impressed at how well I had recovered from the pain given the severity of my herniated disc. I have to give Dr. Ann Marie all the credit she deserves. It's tricky with nerve pain, herniated discs, etc. because each person heals differently but I came into her office in tears from pain and I am so thankful at how much she's been able to alleviate my pain!
